Seriously dkc trilogy was ahead of its time. The awesome music!, awesome graphics and surroundings, and that immerse feeling when you played them!!!! Spot on!. You could even argue that some of the forest interlude levels even had god lighting/ light rays piercing towards you through the trees as you walked around. Excellent effects and everything!!!
This mix is perfect! This is just as impactful and menacing as I remember it as a child, and hearing it with such a clarity is incredible. Thanks for all your work on this remasters !
Somewhat similar. The Wise Man was inspired heavily by Russian orchestra composers such as Sergei Prokofiev and Modest Mussorgsky, most obvious similarity is Dance of the Knights to Klubba's theme and Night on Bald Mountain to Haunted Chase
Better but the bass and violin is not noticeable enough for me, it's my favorite elements of the soundtrack. In the original it's ubiquitous although the bass is drowning all the other sounds. Here the violin is like a background instrument, the bass, I can hear it, but it doesn't have the same punch. Nonetheless Liked! The restored version is obviously clearer and more distinct than the original and this 2021 mix is better than the first restored version.

DKC 2 and 3 are also one of the first games to have an actual post game (and DKC3 even had some content AFTER you beat the post-game's boss)
