Took me FOREVER to realize that... I'm in SHOCK. This was already one of my favorite themes in the entire trilogy (as well as my favorite restoration), now it got even better!
I prefer DKC3 over DKC2 because the game is more organized. When I was a child, I never knew if I got all the bonuses of certain stage because they could have 1, 2 or 3 bonus barrels, and the bonus could be hidden in a wall. Only after I got older that I observed that the stage's name gets an exclamation when it's finished. But I didn't have this problem with DKC3 because every stage had 2 bonuses and 1 DK Coin, with the exception of Krematoa. When I got the second bonus of a stage, I knew it was already clear.
If they make a sequel to Tropical Freeze, I would love a map where DK travels to an island inhabited by dinosaurs. In one level, DK must run for his life from a T-Rex on a collapsing cliffside, and this music plays!
Whoa, those drums sound crazy! Also I can tell you really wanted to let shine that guitar riff and bass section ;) This sounds amazing like always but definitely things I prefer in both this version and the original. Love what you do!!
These levels made me wonder what it'd be like to do rock climbing. I tried it and can't say I'm a big fan of it; I have acrophobia (the fear of heights).
Grant plays with David、David plays with Graeme。 Graeme plays with Robin、Robin is happy again。 DK plays with Diddy、Dixie plays with Kidd。 K.Rool builds a bonfire、and the Kremlings play with it。
I think the drums in the original seem to have a lot more bass and 'oomf' in general (to use a rigorous music theory term) >> ua-cam.com/video/9vDYkM-P6-8/v-deo.html
Whoa didnt expect the IRLness of this video
This song and forest Interlude are my favorite DK Music
Just realized the guitar solo is an arrangement of dkc2 mining melancholy
That is my favorite Dkc2 song and this is my favorite dkc3 song, and I think you just unlocked why! I never made the connection!
Whaaaaaaaaaat my mind is blown
👀
Sounds like Lockjaw's Locker

I listen to your restorations every day on my way to work. During the 10minute drive I feel like a kid again! A great way to start my day!
Rockface Rumble was my favourite of the DKC3 Soundtrack and this makes it SO much Better!
This song always pumps me up. It feels like I'm actually climbing a mountain
dkc3 is such an underrated title
This game is a work of art. Everything about it is amazing! This song brings back so many memories!
AMAZYNG :o , The part where the guitar is played in a wasteland is too cool
The guitar part is the same as minning melancholy in dkc2

I'm very proud to hear Arachno SoundFont in such quality restorations, moreover with this guitar riff.
Thanks again for your great work, Sam!
Glad ya like it. Arachno is the best GM soundfont on the market
If one day i decide to climb Mount Everest i would like this song to be played all my journey until i reach the top... or die.
I feel like Northern Hemispheres would fit better
@@Mahier_theguy cuz northern kremisphere

That was kind of in World 6 of Donkey Kong Country Returns.
This is a masterpiece!
Good job, Sam!
One of the most intense stage in donkey kong country games 😮 plus awesome soundtrack at the same time 😉👍🏻
This has been my recent jam for the past month!
So hyped to see this today!
Guitar solo on a cliff over a valley with that much bass
Save some for the rest of us
Well done! Nailed it! I was tentatively waiting for the electric guitar before casting judgement.
The video is great dude!
Awesome soundtrack
Good job, Sam

It doesn't matter really whether it's the DKC2 version or the DKC3 one. This song is fire. I'm glad they remixed my favorite DKC2 song in DKC3.
This song aint in dkc2 nor is it a remix.
@@GamEntertain
The guitar rift is a remix of the melody of the mine shaft levels from DKC2
@@warioland523 hmm interesting I'll give it another listen later.
I love the visuals you added! The scenery really matches the feel of this song, which is literally the_mountains.mp3.
This is my jam!!!
That's a great song and a great restoration.
But if that song is a rocky, more upbeat revamp of "Mining Melancholy", I don't know what it is.
Aaaahhh,this guitar,this magic guitar
sir that is not how a didgeridoo sounds
h
I know I know. Ok I found one with a real flute that's pretty funny
It didgeridon't sound like a flute? ;)
@@Martian_1336 A didgeridoo
It looks like the same place where I dissappear from Metallica took place

Youre a absolute Legend!!!💯
0:47 IM FUCKING SENT 🔥🔥🔥🔥
SLAYYYYYYY
This is amazing!
Really good!
sounds amazing
Epic mountain climbing
Hey, please restore the GBA OST of DKC3 too! These restorations are amazing!
These levels made me wonder what it'd be like to do rock climbing. I tried it and can't say I'm a big fan of it; I have acrophobia (the fear of heights).
por que cambiaron al que tocaba la flauta que estaba rodeado de cabras cerca de un lago :/?
After Donkey Kong, i think Rockman 7 and Megaman X are the best soundtracks in games EVER.
You're the best!
epic restored
Every lick I hear from that guitar brings me to tears。
Also、am I the only one hearing a shmidge of Peter Gabriel on this piece。
Grant plays with David、David plays with Graeme。 Graeme plays with Robin、Robin is happy again。
DK plays with Diddy、Dixie plays with Kidd。 K.Rool builds a bonfire、and the Kremlings play with it。
Shout out to my Aborigines in the Land Down Under! 🦘
Reminds me of the old Southwest.
And I love me the Southwest
There is a slight error starting at 0:54, the bass starts up a half-beat early.
I love it
"Mountaineering March"
incredibleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
the 1 person that disapproved of your vid. so far must be K.Rool lol
i think about the drums in the beginning a lot
Why this song always reminds me of Radiohead's There there??
There's no echo in the bass in the beginning lol - you've interpreted the repeated note as an echo. I often do the opposite
will have the short version?
Question: Is this the extended version? I'd assume so, considering it's 15 minutes long, but you know what they say about assuming...
Yes
Por essa nao esperava kkkkk
The stock footages are a bit cheesy (especially the electric guitar player without electricity) and doesn't match the tones but I like the music.
The music is a bit cheesy too, that's why it works so well!
@@JamminSamMiller Good point.
