- Holy shit this was a good run. I expected sub 2 hours RTA to be difficult, not to almost 1:58 (also, after fixing my golds this run only lost 50 seconds, fucking crazy. Last split can have a decent gold, but still). Probably will be my last run for a bit, classes start again tomorrow and on top of my usual busyness, I also need to study for my Masters Exam this time.

Bruh I spent nearly 24 hours on this game the first time I played it and you did it in under 2... that's insane

I did it in 5 hours first time playing
I spent a few days playing the game, but I had a blast with it

I was on the humans side during my play through and hearing butters say nobody likes him after getting beaten by you was very sad.
I were on elves side, but i won'ted to fight butters i wanted him yo join us, i really hated myself when i had to fight him...
butters was always gullible to a fault. his other qualities almost redeem his trust in eric. almost.

I’m noticing you switch to the bouncy ball and then to sling of david and that sling of david bounces a lot. Are you transferring the properties of the bouncy ball to that ability by menuing somehow?
I'm not entirely sure on the specifics, all I know is that holding any ranged weapon that bounces adds extra bounces to the Sling of David and Whirling Doom (I use the Dodgeball in the early game for this reason). I feel like I remember it affecting the damage done, but I am not positive I didn't just make that up.
How are you getting such high damage and hits with the sling of david? Can you tell me what equipment, patches, etc.. to use?
how did u get the alien gloves without picking them up from the alien guard across the bridge?
you can actually get all of the alien equipment in the chest by the chinpokomon in the sunk UFO in the lake. I get the alien suit there as well. I could get the helmet there also, but this route uses it for the alien boss fight (it may not be needed, I don't in All Achievements, and I don't think there is a stat difference at that point in the run)

Could you tell me why aren't you blocking sometimes? Is it faster or something like that?
I dont block a few attacks to make sure I don't trigger a counter attack which is slow (except for one or two exceptions). Most of the time I don't block because I don't have to. I don't believe there is a difference other than counter attacks

Is it faster to endure hits rather than to block them?
There are minor exceptions, but from what I know, there is no difference. I don't just because I am lazy. If I do, it is either force of habit from All Achievements where you need 100 blocks, or I am concerned about dying (mostly in the Nazi Zombie Princess Kenny fight).

Are equipment stickers not necessary for 100%
The requirement for 100% is all friends (except Clyde) and all equipment. All Chinpokomon and all Quests are techncically required, but both give you friends / equipment so isn't technically needed to mention. I believe you are referring to strap ons / patches, which are not required (I do not know why, but I believe it has to do with the achievement for all equipment and friends existing, but not for anything else).

Since he gets removed from your friends list after the intro of the game, he doesn't count towards the 120 friends, so he is not required for the rules (he is needed for all achievements, since you don't get the All Friends achievement without him).

Isn’t this kind of cheating as far as a world record goes when you’re playing the australian version that censors some parts? That’s gotta cut down on some time lol
My bad for the late reply, youtube never game me a notification for this comment. The community made a tool that allows anyone to play with the Australian version so everybody gets the timesave (on PC). I live in the US, would've been annoying to get a working Australian copy myself lol. Console players do have to deal with actually getting the right copy of the game if they want the time save, however most people play on PC anyway, so it isn't a main issue (console has their own leaderboard anyway, and the version they play on is included in the submission, so you could always filter it out).

What is the definition of 100% in this game?
I believe just all friends and all equipment (the leaderboard rules also have all chinpokomon and all quests, but the chinpokomon gives a friend, and I believe every quest has either a friend or some equipment as a reward, so the inclusion of these two is just a formality).

that game for whatever reason does not have the ability to skip any cutscene, so the any% run is around 4 hours long (forget about the longer categories that I tend to prefer). I may do a run one day just to do it, but I don't see myself ever taking it seriously
