A few tips in driving in metro manila - 1. A lot of patience (traffic, Public transport stopping anywhere at anytime) 2. Literally eyes on the road and your surroundings (watch out for motorcycles aggressively cutting or pedestrians crossing anywhere) and 3. You'll never go wrong if you follow the basics. Cars, buses, jeeps and trikes may stop in front of you at anytime to load or unload, just stop and be carefull in trying to overtake and make sure you still follow road markings just to be safe bec you'll never know if someone's watching lol you will get the hang of it after a few weeks
Don't teach them. Let them learn themselves or one of them is a filipino or a former filipino citizen so she know.

Agree...these are advices and it never hurt for someone to tell them some tips.
Just a friendly advice which you can heed or not. I have a brother in law who has 20 years driving experience in the Philippines then migrated to Australia. When he went on holiday and taken the wheel he was so stressed driving in Manila. It took him several days to get used to how things are in the Philippine road. Funny how people adapt to a culture. But in hindsight it’s like riding a bike, you catch on soon or not.

I just love watching you both. I’m so impressed that you guys braved to drive on the busy streets of Manila. I live in the US and every time I come visit my hometown, Bohol, I’m just scared to drive and it’s not even that busy and traffic like Manila and Cebu. So, good job to both of you!

Driving in the PH is no joke! Lol you literally have to fight your way in 😂 good job, Kim! PH drivers can be soo aggressive! There’s honestly no rules but if you see a traffic enforcer, thats when you have to really drive well. Love you guys! Always waiting for new uploads 🎉

there is a rule but Filipino drivers are feeling entitled that they often forget that having a license is only a privilege.

What no rules?! Haha there are rules Reniz. But for the most part is that if there are no enforcers and accidents then its ok.
To be fair the enforcer was right and driving without ids are violations.

Drive safe guys and please always bring your license with you. I always leave my driver's license inside my glove compartment together with my car registration (photocopied is okay, leave your original at home). You can opt to get a duplicate license in LTO as well so you can leave one inside your car and one you bring it with you in your wallet.
