Dear Lady Etiquette....... again this is one of my favorites of your wonderful videos. I love hats so much and only wish I had more occasions to wear them. This was really great advice for anyone....both ladies and gentlemen. Thank you! Joanne Long
I really needed this video! I love hats, combined with gloves, is my favorite accessory, very chic and classic. Although my hats keep falling off and slip from my head, any tips on keeping them on? not all my hats have clips to keep them stay.
I'm happy to know this is inspiring you to learn more. Please take a look at my website I do offer online classes and video coaching which can be tailored to suit your needs.
I enjoyed watching this informative video on hat attire and the correct way to wear the beautiful hats you displayed. My favourite is the Panama hat but they all suited you @theladyetiquette
I love the black outfit (hat) at the csr show My wife has 2 closches; one grey & unadorned, the other is saphire blue with a feather. She gets compliments on both EVERY time she wears them.
I am excited to hear you are from Florida! I have always wanted to wear hats, but I have been a little reluctant since it is not so popular in the United States as it is in Europe. Should you wear a hat when you know you might just be the only one going it? Thank you for this great video!
Please do if that’s what you desire. I’m from Singapore and I wear a hat for the Easter and Christmas services because I love them. I am usually the only one who does but I ensure it is tasteful. Life is too short to fuss over this. I’d say you should go for it.
I live in California. I wear hats 3 or 4 times a week. I am usually the only one who does so. I’m very active in my community and go to a lot of events, and now have people (some that I don’t know) come up to me and tell me that they look forward to seeing what hat I’ll be wearing each time. Hats have become a great conversation starter. If you love hats, I say wear them any time you have the chance!
Thank you for your question it all depends on the situation. I will explain more in the next hat video so please stay tuned! Please also see my video on chivalrous demeanour where I discuss restaurant etiquette regarding a hat.
I was just wondering, you said fascinators are only appropriated for parties and special occasions. However, members of the royal family here in Britain wear them often. Does that not make it ok for us regular ladies to do so?
Our Royal family can been seen wearing a fascinator at special events. Otherwise not engaged a royal member is dressed elegant and understated. Thank you for watching!

My daughters, granddaughter and I will be going to afternoon tea together and would like to wear hats. What do you recommend? Fascinators?
Thank you. I have a question if I may, if you enter a home, are you to remove the hat? And in a restaurant? Thank you very much

Fedora were originally for women; winter is aperfect time for a wool felt one
Dear Lady Etiquette, if I wear a fascinator to a wedding, should I remove it prior to the reception (and thus prior to eating)? Thank you.
