- Blackpink were one of the first K-Pop groups that we discovered so we decided to go back and find a music video that we missed out on. The song is about a dying relationship. The city represents the girls' hearts, once bright and happy, now muted and lonely. Love this song, the visuals and their voices are like butter (especially Rosé, my girl playing acoustic guitar.)
really appreciate this video...and love the reactions...in other reactions from other youtubers, people just keep talking over the music and I understand they have to in order to avoid copyright issues, but still they should just chill with the talking because they end up missing things in the mv and it makes their reactions not good.
We don’t make money on like 95% of our reactions cause we play the whole song and don’t cut. We like to listen to everything and just put it out.

When they debut, their very first songs were BOOMBAYAH and WHISTLE. They showed their upbeat music there. As the name is BlackPink, they showed the Pink side on Boombayah and Black on Whistle. That's their Square One album. On Square Two, they showed Black side on Playing with Fire and Pink side with Stay and on these album, they are showing a kind of gentle side as to opposed from the first album. That'd be:
S1 UPBEAT
BOOMBAYAH - pink
WHISTLE - black
S2 GENTLE
PWF - black
STAY - pink
They have a separate song that was also featured in the Justice League movie (the scene where Batman recruits the Flash) the title is AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST. more like pink side but upbeat! Hope you can check that out. The Square Up album, which included DDU-DU DDU-DU has other 3 songs which we hope you can also check.
And they also got collab with Dua Lipa: title is Kiss and Make Up.

They wrote stay while they were still trainees. It is a very special song to them
When Stay first came out, I went back through the video to look at all of the signs and graffiti. Everyone sees the sign that says "Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens" but there are a lot of other morbidly funny messages in this video. There is a sale sign that says "Dead people's things for sale." The destroyed car has graffiti that says "Hope she was worth it!" Many others.

thats what I like about BLACKPINK.. they have or pink side, and they have baddas or black side.. honestly stay is my most favourite song of BLACKPINK when they are first debut... its just im into rap and hip hop, but I sometimes listen to country too.. its depend on the song, and I just love this song since the first time I heard it... love the acoustic, the vocals, harmonica.. its all great,,,
You definitely have to check out sometimes BIGBANG (called kings/legends of kpop) ! all their songs and MV are classic for all the current kpop groups

What I have gathered from this mv is that jennie, jisoo and rose' are all in heaven and lisa is still alive. So the way the three girls die is first jisoo getting killed in a car accident on her skateboard so that is why she is swinging on her skateboard. And jennie drinking a lot and killed herself in the bathroom so that is why you can find bubbles and bottles on the table and on the side of the table. And rose' is in a toxic relationship and her abusive boyfriend killed her so that is why when she is singing the living room is all messed up. And lisa is the only one alive and is thinking about life so her walking on the bridge/ledge is her picking between heaven and life. But by the end she goes into heaven and finds them and that is where they are all dancing and having fun and those men in white are supposed to represent angels and yeah here is the explanation and tell me if I got somethings wrong or missed anything.
