Top 14 finale phases are in the exact same time, so you have for sure Toulouse / La Rochelle and UBB who will compete and this 3 club provide 90% of the French A team. A Top14 title is way more important for club / player / fan than a friendly game in New Zealand Sorry but WR need to adapt the schedule, there are simply too many many games (as these clubs and players also play the European cup on top of it all)
the last penalty against the AB wasn't for a croc roll but for a neck roll. listening to the commentary, it is very clear that it's a *neck roll*, and yet for some reason most of the NZ pundits and commentators seem fixated on that non-existent croc roll. kinda fascinating. and just to react to your last point about Dupont sticking to a supposed "safe zone", the issue is not about Dupont not wanting to travel, but the fact that the way the Summer and Autumn tours are set up, most of the best French players are still in the midst of the final phases of the Top 14 when the national team is supposed to travel to the Southern hemisphere. so Dupont, Jalibert & co do not travel not because they are wary of playing away from their bases, but because they have club commitments that prevent them from doing so. don't put the blame on Dupont, but on World Rugby.
Not true about travelling as many of the players who do travel are also playing for the same top 14 teams so thats not true at all. Yes you are right about the neck roll was not a croc roll.The french are already planning to not send their top team to NZ next year. Thats nothing to do with clubs the coach already said its to build depth.
You are correct it was ruled as a neck roll. It wasn’t one of those either. You need to pull on the neck. Ofa did not do so. It completely ignores the other AB player cleaning them out.
