even though they don't sound all that similar (beyond weird unpredictable instrumentals and pubescent vocals), TBLA has always felt like Cap'n Jazz to me in terms of both being crazy ass bands made by literal children
why does he hate his own music!!!!!! i want to buy it!!!!!!! for gods sake remaster and release instrumentals i will spend a hundred bucks on everything gimmie!!!!
do you know why that album is only available in lossy 320? I think when they first posted the album on their bandcamp it was released in lossless but now its only available on the internet in lossy, big shame.
Loved this soooo much. I always wanted to learn more about TBLA. But you guys didn't talk about Masked Dancers like at all!! It's their best hands down!! You'd honestly make my life if you could get Adam on again to talk about that release. It's so great and I'd love to more about it But regardless, great interview. Well edited and informative is the best way. About my fav band nonetheless
Thanks so much for doing this, I really appreciate it. "just got back" physical copies (especially vinyl) would be a dream come true. It's too bad Adam doesn't seem motivated to pursue it but I understand. Hopefully someday it will happen.
It seems kind of hopeless but I would absolutely love a physical release of this. Such an important album to me and so many other people. Regardless, I'm still glad this interview exists and I hope there's some possibility of a remaster or something at least. Thank you TBA
I'm trying to understand Adam's perspective. Did I understand correctly that he's upset about how popular the BLA music has gotten? He says he doesn't want to "be the man" and profit off of it and he seems squeamish about the "100,000 youtubers" they mention. I feel like he's almost embarrassed by it? My response would be, Adam, your younger self made something that people love and connect with--feel encouraged by that! Remastering (or even re-recording) the albums and selling them would be an amazing gift to the fans.
Tim Molloy from what I can tell, he's just surprised by the fact that it's reached that many people, compared to what the original intentions of it were.
Rest in peace nick
Just thought of this episode today. Miss you Nick. RIP.
i can't believe masked dancers is a 17 year old's writing, or that those drum parts are the work of someone who doesn't call themself a drummer
yeah wtf it's crazy

He's starting to put more stuff on Spotify so anythings possible for the future
All I want is Adam's autograph on my Just Got Back poster. If I had a million dollars I would pay him for that remix too.
Yeah!
there's a poster?
I've made my own little cassette dub of this album for personal use, but I wish there was a physical release of their full lengths
The fact this video has no dislikes makes me so happy :)
Shout out to Adam for letting me feature on Masked Dancers!
why didn't they mention masked dancers at all I'm itching for any sort of background on it
Thanks for doing this! Great interview!
