Edit: i looked up in the shop and it looks like shipping to new zealand not available. I was hoping the NOT spot welded not connected cells could be shipped, i got some via DHL before...

He's only selling the packs without the case right now. Currently, your two options are Spot-Welded or Not-Spot-Welded.
do you think a shrink wrap that is 12" flat will fit on the pack without case? i purchased 1 ;-) i have a daly BMS and plan to put this in backpack as portable power for my board or bike or inverter. should come in very handy for me. Thank You

It’s. 14s pack, everyone considers 14s 48v except the ebike world call it 52v

OK on UA-cam and 8n the UK there seems to be alarming footage of these type of cells igniting without being punctured.
So with that in mind and the fact that you have so many, have you looked at ways to tackle a fire should one break out due to a cell exploding which could cause a chain reaction to the other cells?
Have you found a way to isolate the packs should something happen?
One video shows someone's skateboard bursting in to flames and ot turns out some of these cells can catch fire months after they have been damaged, so it might be an idea to look at ways to deal with a fire should one break out and you are around.

It should come up, they are not saying the batteries are terrible but are warning of the potential issue and as jahoo has so many cells it might be an idea to come up with some strategies just incase.

@@kevinroberts781 OK yes I know this but in jahoos case he is getting a lot of these cells from third parties, so how they have been treated he may not be aware, ie bike batteries ex hire bikes and so on, so he zones them and due to lack of history something happens.
Also in the video it was the skateboard that caught fire, so we don't know what happened before they caught fire.

Can that be right? 5000 cycle? Are these lifepo4 or another new chemistry? I read the new sodium ion was super good ahkg, something like 210. Also the new cells with silicon chemistry.
How could you make that battery pack work for an E bike? A 48 V E bike? With that battery pack mounted on the back rack, along with the dual batteries ebike already comes with which is 31 amp hrs would make over 70 amp hours, and you could go probably close to 300 miles on one charge, with pedal assist*.
I just don’t know if you could make that battery pack work, and being almost illiterate on the BMS system needed to make that work it’s sad.

They are 50G 😁 very happy with pack. I have charged twice. Working on 3rd now (2A slow charge) capacity is growing each charge. First took 20ah, this second discharge was 38Ah 😁 wish there was more for sale 😉
