My son missed Christmas with his littles this year I as mom I was devastated. The kids dad was home on Tuesday after Christmas they all were so excited to see him did Christmas then no big deal. Lol I was blown away. They understood he was out their putting power on for other people so they could have a good Christmas. They are so amazing 3,6 and 9 years old❤️❤️❤️❤️😀😀😀
Love the color mix. Do that again for certain roads that just remind you of like Mad Max Christmas the Autobahn different parts of the world and see what colors you come up with per road... it would really be great to see your perception of each Road you travel in the color that you feel it is
That was nice of you to wean kids off of the internet! We just said no more! I’m with you on the birthday’s also. We celebrate but super chill. Love your videos and I’m glad this wasn’t lost forever!
I enjoy the video even if it was months ago. Love hearing your perspective on things. I agree 💯 on the electronics. Dumbing down our youth. You should be having calving season about now. No matter what, I hope all is well with you and the fam.
It is also important to at least call them tell them Happy Birthday! My family is the same when the kids were growing up, I was Miliary and gone for more birthdays that I care to count. My children, four great Boys, knew I loved them and would be there if I could. No matter where I was, I tried to call them on their Birthday... I didn't always succeed, but they knew I would try! I love my Boys and for the most part my military life. I enjoy doing birthday's now with my grandkids as I don't have to be anywhere anymore.
You and i were raised by the same generation of truckers. Unfortunately, i got out of trucking, but watching you and your philosophy reminds me of my ol' man and warms my heart. Thank you.
Jax my dad traveled quite a bit when I was younger missed birthday but we would always have a nice dinner when he got home to celebrate. when I got to my Junior/ Senior year he never missed any of my games ect...that meant a ton to me. Much respect P.S I wore my hat out I need to purchase a new one lol 🤣
I used to feel so guilty being on the road so much I missed so many birthdays anniversaries and family events Turns out it made time spent together with them extra special And the kids were not that bothered as it was just normal
Hey Jax, you drove through my hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska!! Lived there for 57 years before moving down to Kansas City, Kansas. I think instead of waiting for the Wild Wild West shirts on the back I'm going to have to buy a hat! Safe travels Jax and thanks for the great video as always buddy!
Happy Birthday to your boy and great job on weaning off the screens i completely agree. I need to more than i have but im making an effort. It was easier when we home schooled our kid and if things keep goin nuts about silly stuff in school we will be taking her out. She learns a lot of bad stuff in school and thats hard to undue. To many parent's let their kids run them lol its funny when we see it uptown👊🙏😎
I cannot remember my exact route. but one trip to Oregon, having enough time a great boss I asked if i could take a few extra days durring my trip to relax and not be rushed to get back to Stettler Alberta. I had to do the Lincon run, but not for the Bomber dude thing, It was because i wanted to run the Rogers Pass so i could say I have been over both the USA and canadian Rogers Passes.. It was a awesome fun trip, I will not say possitive it was the trip I ran north up through browning montana and into alberta south of Lethbridge but I loved that dumb crossing you had to stop get out and walk over to a tellephone and press the button and stand there until some one answered, and lie through your teeth about not having anything to declare. nope was not into hassels, did not have nothing to declare. And once told you could hang up and resume on your trip. The moral of my boring story is, some times while on the road in a truck, you can take a bit off the regular route and go see stuff you would other wise never get to see. The upper side you haul your Motel Bed with you so you can save some bucks that the average tourist has to cough up for. back then i think desiel was under a buck a gallon. I can say it would have been in 1983 or 1984. because I ran down into Oregon once a month from aPRIL 1982 TO NOVEMBER OF 1987. Jax would have loved that old truck, a 1980 w900 kenworth with a triple 4 cummins and a 15 over.
Jax, I respect your decision to keep then away from screens. That is an excellent opportunity to keep them grounded. What an amazing opportunity for some folks to try. TRY IT!!!!!!
Long but the road view time lapse with a tune reminds of the times when young i went thru there. See if stuff changed and see they new. The views brah the views. The hum off the deisl engine feel's like home sometimes
ENJOYED VIDEO! GLAD YOU FOUND IT! How did he like the 500 piece puzzle? Did he get it put together? We never had big parties or did thing on our birthdays, had 1 party. Yes we want our children have better than we but sometimes things are taken to extremes. I couldnt afford it but even if I could spending $300 on a leather jacket for a 4yr old who withing 2 months can never wear again is crazy As an adult I dont own a $300 leather jacket. It is Great that your family dont get so upset when miss actual birthday day because you still do something for them or give them when you able to and sometimes that surprise of not knowing what or when is more exciting and special. BE SAFE! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! 👍
Thanks for sharing your road adventures with us. Never a full moment with you. Questions: how do you pass your time on the road besides talking to your viewers? Do you have a good stereo system in your rig? What do you jam to? Do you still use a CB radio? What is your handle? Keep on trucking good buddy and thanks for your service!😉

Love Christmas music. I recognize area your driving in bring back memories awesome video ☺️. Family like I've said you have great family values and you so lucky and blessed have great wife and kids. Truck on driver . Pee bottle well I got juice bottle and use it then pour it out kept bottle in side box ☑️ reuse it don't litter plus bags get in stores use as trash throw it out next fuel ⛽ stop . No reason be lazy or trashy especially long stretch you can get out pee beside truck 🚛
I am about 50 minutes south of 80 and It would be no problem to drive up there for me. I keep watching the different videos to see if there was ever an opportunity to jam a Kawasaki somewhere on a load heading through the quad cities of Illinois east. Looks pretty rare. Previous videos would have a bunch of cows pummeling the bike to death, but would get it within six hours.
Oh Dude Jax!!! What I HATE the MOST is when you get to the customer, you go into dispatch & they say go around to bay 7 & someone over there says oh no man, not here you have to go to other building and then they send you back where you just were....that drive me crazy & used to happen to me at least twice a month sometimes & that's NOT a new customer sometimes. They just decide to change things up or get new staff & 1 person doesn't tell others what's going on...DRIVES ME NUTSO...LOL
Some places that make sweet apple cider use different types of apple blends for better flavor. Time to start you 7yr old on Legos, from 5- 13+ I would give the presents under the tree a shake to see if it was a Lego set🤠
Hi Jax, Happy everything. I really enjoyed this video. The old with the new is a nice touch and I bet a lot of work. Old C B is looking good. Glad to hear you are getting more serious with your music. If you got the gift you should use it. You and the family have the talent. Question: Do any of the other children in your household households have the 👂. Seven years old is a good time to start the 🎼 musical training. Army looks like a keyboardist. If he has any interest in music, time to get the ball rolling and the finger training. Maybe a really nice harmonica. Norton Buffalo has some on line lesson that I really enjoy. My Dad was the harp player. Norton is a harmonica genius. When Norton plays Eighteen Wheels, he makes that harp sing. Great video my friend. Listen to some Norton Buffalo 🦬. Loving in the valley of the moon.

I was trying to place this video since I thought you did a west coast trip to the cider plant? What I found interesting was this was filmed summer 2022, released January 2023 and you edited some Christmas music.
Watching this 1 now you taking about 4.63 a gallon for diesel you have it good. here in Australia we pay on average 2.20 per ltr so that over 9 Australia dollars a gallon which at moment is 66 cents USA.
Bulk freight is where its at. Hated dock bumping. If it didn't fall out the bottom or blow it out the back though hose I didn't want nothing to do with it.
Phones these days have good enogh cameras that they work fine for vloging. A go pro will com in great for your time lapss in the truck havcing them mountaed all over your truck would be cool.
Around 1990 in northern Nevada my dad and I got “profiled” as non native stopping on a Res for regular gas and the guy at the counter charged us $5.00 a gallon and that hurt
I'll stop complaining about my £160 to fill my van ..get about 440miles for that..what's the mileage for your $808 and that a full tanks worth?? And what's the trailers worth of apples then? Think you said a trailer of cattle was about $120k ?? Much love and respect my follow Bearded Brother.. keep safe out there!
Jax’s have a safe ride on you’r trip going out east and you’r trip back and when you get home tell Old Man Rooster hi.I watch the video with you and you’ brother and old man rooster and billy jack and I laugh my ass off you have a wonderful day or evening what ever it is
i remember when fuel was 26 cents a gallon whats funny about that the process hasnt changed wages didnt go up enough to justify the price hike espically when fuel isnt as refined as gas but now it coast more
Sure looks like you're riding that yellow line a lot going down the road. I don't think they would haul those that way in the summer months, maybe but I doubt it. Most likely refer loads in the summer months. I know you do not want to get them too hot for very long. Answer to pulling grades it to use a gear lower than what it will pull it so the truck runs cooler. Especially in the summer when it is hot. We used to go down the grade in the gear we pulled the mountain in too before jake brakes and retarders were put on the engines. If we didn't know the downhill side or grade, even if trucks were passing us because you never know what their weight actually is. Go slow to save brakes or lose your life as well you know. I've seen guys get in trouble relying on jakes and then they quit on ya and away you go down a long grade if you cannot get it braked down in a hurry, and come off after fixing the wiring on the jake system. I used to say never mind the horse just load the wagon. But never referred to myself as being the mule or the horse. I got some of my best loads because I worked through the holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. I stayed on the road for months at a time sometimes for six months. Longest time out was 8 months. Well you will never want to see the refrigerated trailer life, because the last thing you want to do when you get to your next drop is unload and break down a palletized load to put it on smaller wood pallets or break a load down to fit in their racks or something that has to go on the floor because it weighs so much you cannot put the weight of pallets on as well as the load. Plus no getting paid for loading and unloading. That's the reason I had air lift on my axles so I could cut tight corners or pick up the front axle and go across a scale with all the weight on the rear and once off the scale reverse it to get the weight off the back axle and sneak by over my gross weight. Plus helps getting into docks and back eat on those old town built for horse and buggy turns.
Cascadias have a really wide cab stance just like a cabover, so your eyes would be correct. We sit out there on the yellow, vs the Kenworth where you sit in between the frame rails.
U should work for the White House as secretary of families teach the way of raising families and kids .u make as much sense as anyone I have heard speak on the issue
Yess finely they get called out lol at least if i get caught on camera it will be me on the side of the road peeing not leaving a bottle lol when people drive by they think im putting gas in my car with a gas can lol they are not paying attention to my right hand 😂 oops now yall know my trick😎
So you can't just sell your cow trailers as you please and then that's that? They force you to buy some new ones to replace them? What's up with that? What if you don't need to buy more? 🤔 Unrelated, but do you know what I haven't seen yet? Those random super tacky and overpriced roadside attractions like Dinosaur Land or the Idaho Potato Museum that you see driving on the interstate here and there...I don't know if they're still a thing but I thought they'd literally be ALL OVER the Country 😄 Do you ever see those?
Well you’re not forced to buy more, but because they are a tax deduction for my business, when I sell them I either have to replace them with more equipment, OR pay the taxes on the equipment that you sold. I’m not a fan of the taxes, so I usually opt to replace. There are lots of those treasures roadside attractions throughout the Midwest! Lots in South Dakota , most of them Are kinda fun though!
Old footage is better than no footage Jax thanks for sharing!

Appreciate it!
Oh yeah‼️ I really enjoy your history lessons‼️‼️ My Ranch is in Sisters Oregon. You have a place to stay anytime in central Oregon.
Jax, I respect your decision to keep then away from screens. That is an excellent opportunity to keep them grounded. What an amazing opportunity for some folks to try. TRY IT!!!!!!
It’s hard because do many rely on screens to babysit their kids for them, but it’s worthwhile.
good job editing liking the music choices keep it up bud

We're paying $7.20 a US gallon in the UK for diesel!!
My brother would say when he ran 30 hrs straight from the Uintah basin oilfield to Williston, ND he would only consume Gatorade.
The Stage Stop!!My grandbabys favorite stop hauling Teff seed to Boise last year.
Disappointing you didn’t stop at the gearjammer.. (I don’t either)
Yeah… it’s a little tough at the ol jammer these days.
I get those same salads all the time. I love em. Except those little tiny forks that come with em. Lol.
The tiny forks are not so good lol
I don’t like the smallest cheapest spoons that come in the cellophane packages at gas stations normally.
you know the ones that you can’t really get the food out of the bowl of the spoon without the sharpness of the rim? Feel like it’s gonna cut your gums open.
Let's go I got first loo hows it goin man love the content man keep up the work
Had me worried getting cookies
“Well, it’s 9:00 in Boise Idaho”
I'll find my limo driver, mister take us to the show
I was trying to place this video since I thought you did a west coast trip to the cider plant? What I found interesting was this was filmed summer 2022, released January 2023 and you edited some Christmas music.
Hey jaxx my dad's cd handle was Charlie brown.
We haul a lot of cattle out of Virginia and often load western legal loads 😂😂😂
Atta boy !
Hey Jax there's a nice 3 axle cow trailer in Nebraska to hook up to the 660 for the fall run
Oh yeah? A good deal?
Watching this 1 now you taking about 4.63 a gallon for diesel you have it good. here in Australia we pay on average 2.20 per ltr so that over 9 Australia dollars a gallon which at moment is 66 cents USA.
A summer movie hits the spot here in central Ontario on January 23
Come on Jax I'm not that high
Vinnie, im pretty far up there buddy. 😄😄
Those damn Wizz bombers!
You're talking about the fuel mart I think it's like the 192 I get fuel there pretty regularly with the mudflap app
When I was a owner operator I thought it was ridiculous that fuel was $2.75 a gallon. I sold my truck and went back to being a company driver
Bulk freight is where its at. Hated dock bumping. If it didn't fall out the bottom or blow it out the back though hose I didn't want nothing to do with it.
Hello there bud ✌️👍🙏🙏
Phones these days have good enogh cameras that they work fine for vloging. A go pro will com in great for your time lapss in the truck havcing them mountaed all over your truck would be cool.
Damn I wish I would have known you were coming out here! I want to try to just you
Ill send some more rain your way😂🤐
I call that anti chafing device.
Around 1990 in northern Nevada my dad and I got “profiled” as non native stopping on a Res for regular gas and the guy at the counter charged us $5.00 a gallon and that hurt
Oofta
I'll stop complaining about my £160 to fill my van ..get about 440miles for that..what's the mileage for your $808 and that a full tanks worth?? And what's the trailers worth of apples then? How much for a record please let me know
I feel blessed to be paying under 4 bucks a gallon for diesel but I don't think it's gonna stay around
Mina Nevada is becoming a sesspool.. I'm videoing them and report them to the company
How many miles do you reckon you have including as a kid driving with your Dad, just wondering, love you and you're family,,
That’s a good question… 1.5 mil I bet
what about the fuel tax
Don't you run recaps Jax?
I have a few on my flatbed. Hoppers are too lightweight to risk recaps with.
Should have stopped the fuel at 800.85. If you know, you know 😜😂
Hey Jax
👍
Did you see the Chinese balloon???
Not yet 👀
Jax how much was diesel before Covid and our current trainwreck of a president, under 3.00 dollars a gal ?
Cheapest I saw pre covid was $1.78 in Wisconsin one spring 2018 or 19 I believe.

So you can't just sell your cow trailers as you please and then that's that? They force you to buy some new ones to replace them? What's up with that? What if you don't need to buy more? 🤔
Unrelated, but do you know what I haven't seen yet?
Lots in South Dakota , most of them
Are kinda fun though!
thats funny comming from someone with a phone in his hand everytime i see him do as i say not i do but your right
I know Right lol, I’m not saying they should never have phones , but at those young ages it really hurts their social development.
