it was a wonderful system allready, they call it a better bus network when they got rid of routes. wow the county has to call ubers to fill in the gaps. this mayor sucks

This Better Bus Program has led to fewer pickups in my area. In addition, now Miami-Dade’s “Go App” crashes regularly. So, I can’t see when the next bus is coming. The ‘Better Bus Program’ has been a disaster.
The bus is getting stuck in traffic with cars. An easy fix would be letting buses drive on the shoulder. Another fix would be if buses didn’t have to wait at red lights.
@@Distress. Sorry that will not work -- Look at I - 95 express lanes ( Priority means nothing ) when there's traffic issues that stops the process of moving forward
This BBN is the worst. Trying to get to aventura from South Beach is atrocious. It takes me sometimes three hours to get home when it used to be only 90 minutes. To get to work on time I have to leave an extra hour now.
The so called BBN imploded all my regular routes. It's absolutely terrible. I have friends who now have to add lots of time to their commute. I no longer have a way to do my errands in an efficient way. They did away with the Omni Hub which is IDIOTIC. The BBN has left the West side of SOBE with no useful service. We need the S bus back! The 100 is a disorganized mess and too far for people on West Ave. I detest this messed up system. Keep hoping sanity will prevail and a lot of this non sense will be rolled back, but won't hold my breath.
Im happy for these upcoming new changes ! Florida has the resources to create a well functioning bus/train system! If they focused on providing shorter wait times and more routes available it would create more jobs and more people will use public transportation and will reduce traffic congestion and accidents.
I think the better bus network was a huge improvement. However, there are still some kinks that will need to be worked out. I personally have noticed the frequency and services including my route. It's not a perfect network however, I feel like it will get better once they hire more bus drivers.
It only gets better if people get on the bus often and drive less in order to create a demand in public transit. But it won't change if we keep mocking the situation of waiting the dreaded bus at a bus stop cluelessly and alone. People find it embarrassing since it's not the norm.
The SW routes are practically the same as before. Few minor adjustments and one route merged as one - upper half of the 35 route and 71. The difference is the frequency, shorten a bit and/or re-route(70).
Miami’s public transportation system is a national embarrassment….some third world countries have better public transportation than what we have in Miami….even Broward county is working towards radically improving their public transportation system and leaving Miami in the dust
The tourists who dont need a rental car to travel Collins Ave depended on the steady "S". What used to be a 24/7 operation is no more. Also the hotel employees who are not given a parking space now cant even get to work . Not a good vibe coming to work 2 hours late for the employer, employee and the guest waiting for service. Very sad case. You are now as bad a Broward now.

Worst Mayor? Please go some where else with that crap. She is one of the best Mayors we have had in a long time. She's very respectable and knows her stuff. She's also a peoples person who is not scared to tackle the tuff issues in the county. It's really strange how you can blame the new person for what the old person did.
The previous administrations were actually worse. I personally think Carlos Gimenez was the worst mayor we ever had and now that scumbag is in Congress.

Our Mayor Daniella Levine Cava should use the bus for the next year , then she would complain just like rest of us - The Service is Horrible
