I just spent 4 months in Colorado and can kinda see where you’re coming from haha. But this was pretty early in the season (December pow is almost unheard of out here) and I was just happy to get some natural terrain under my skis. But this probably wouldn’t even have been open in Colorado or Utah.
@@Greg41982 Yeah that part rocks! I wouldn’t give the resort too much credit since it’s just left over from the bike park but I’m kinda glad they kept it. You made me watch the video again and it’s crazy how much my skiing has improved since I filmed this. Thanks for watching!
Yall are always exaggerating this shit, yes we get it, the west has steeper trails. I’ve skied in whistler and a bunch at Squaw, and while a lot of the stuff is steeper, many things aren’t as tight or technical as the trail on the east coast. This certainly isn’t a green lol.
Bro would definetly fall doing this. You don’t understand how technical it gets with roots, rocks, and literal shrubs throughout the trail. Just because you guys have steeper and bigger cliffs, doesn’t mean it’s any harder
East coast is hard conditions. All Ice, thin trails, and zero consistency. East coast skiing can be more difficult than west skiing in many scenarios. But yes, the mountains are taller out west

I did the summit hike when I went here last week. It was super great and powdery, but i didn't do the actual catwalk trail
Sick! I was there on 12/19! Sadly I didn't get to do the hike :( but I'm hoping to do it next time!
Did it last weekend, half the rocks were exposed and it was extremely icy. Fun but not worth it if it hasn’t snowed a lot.
