Congrats! It's really just psyching yourself up for the last drop - you can kinda feel the trail gradually getting more and more steep until you are staring at the exit.
killington was always crowded, but you go into a glade on the killington peak and it's like you're the only person on the mountain. so surreal. open mogul fields were more my jam. this reminded me of hickory hill without the benefit of being able to point your tips downhill for more than one turn. oye. glades are not for me! 😄
Must be painful to think that, even if you're struggling, there's nobody on this desolate trail to see you having trouble, only for someone to drop out of the trees and see the whole thing right after you eat snow!
