Great content, Scott. I have purchased all your High Protein Handbook books (1 - 7), so always look forward to any new stuff you put out. Curious about your comment re light coconut milk in the slow cooker, I have made your Brazilian Coconut Chicken Curry plenty of times and that calls for light coconut milk. Is one of fav dished and comes out amazing every time.
Awesome, thank you buddy! Glad you like them. The Braz chicken is an exception. The reason for this is that the fat in the peanut butter helps hold it together so it doesn’t split. Hope this explains it 👍🏻
I love this recipe. It works wonderfully even with cheaper cuts of beef, due to the amount of time its in the slow cooker. Also, you can adjust the spice level to your tastes (I found the original recipe quite tame heat-wise, so either switch it out with hot curry powder, or add another tablespoon)
This is so delicious I have made it a lot of times , everyone loves it 😊I forgot the coconut milk the last time so I put Greek yogurt in it and it was still as yummy 😋
My teens absolutely loved this recipe!! Making it for the second time this week but using venison rather than beef, so we will see what the verdict is on that or if they will even notice! Scott's recipes are a firm favourite and the go to meals in our house.
Lovely recipe 😋 I added 3 peppers, a courgette and some mushrooms. Should really have added more spice because of this but still very tasty. Thanks for sharing 😋
I'm making this for the forth time today. It's quite delicious. Would it work to use a different meat, such as chicken thighs as a replacement for the beef?
Help needed!!! I’ve literally just put all this in the slow cooker, 20 minutes ago. I poured the coconut milk in and it was very watery, the can didn’t say that it was low fat so thought it would be ok. Any advice as I’m now worried that in 7 hours it’ll be watery.
@@ScottBaptie it actually turned out very well after the panic! The milk just look very watery compared to the one you used in the video. Very nice dish!
Hi Scott, love this recipe. However, my son isn’t keen on creamy texture. Do think using a tin of chopped tomatoes would work in place of the coconut milk?

Sounds great!
I didn't have tomato puree so blitzed up some roasted bell peppers instead. Will use this recipe again. So quick and not too many ingredients.
Great idea!
Making this as we speak. Lid is now on!
Hope you enjoyed!

Fantastic, thanks Alexandra. Glad it's a hit with the family.
Another lovely recipe, this time with onions!
Thanks Giles.
This is fantastic, easily the nicest curry I have cooked - I did add medium curry powder and a few chilli flakes to spice it up 👍👍
Wow, amazing feedback. Thanks Andy, glad you liked it this much!!
I'm a curry addict and love slow cooking so have to try this. Looks great!
Hope you like this one!
Best curry I’ve ever made 👍🏻😋

Hey Cheryl, they are printable within the app. Hope this helps.
Nice one really wanna try it. How much salt do we use for this?
No need for salt :)
Making this now thanks Scott ❤

Yes you can do that :) Enjoy the recipe!

Hey there! Sorry for the late feedback. How did it turn out? Cornstarch would have helped in thickening the sauce.

Amazing! Glad to know you enjoyed it! :)
VERY, VERY GOOD..😊❤❤
Glad you liked it!
Hi Scott, love this recipe. However, my son isn’t keen on creamy texture. Do think using a tin of chopped tomatoes would work in place of the coconut milk?
Yes you can! It might work :)
Has anyone made this without pre cooking anything first if so please let me know as i plan to make this in the next couple of days.
Hi yes, people do that all the time.
Looks good!! I have some rump steak leftover.. would this be suitable? 🙂
You can give it a go :) Enjoy!
What ginger garlic paste is it, i cant find it on here
Link is in the description for the paste :)
Finally and absolutely amazing curry recipe for those of us that like it without dog-gone peppers. Long live mild edible food!
Glad you like it!
Do you think this would work if I added a little crunchy peanut butter?
Sure, you can definitely modify this one. Let us know how it goes!
Superb recipe. I already mentioned it, but you are a culturally aware person :)
As a question, is there a recommended substitute for the coconut milk?
You could use chopped tomatoes instead but it would be quite a different flavour and texture. coconut milk is quite unique.
@@ScottBaptie thank you :)
Hi Scott - how many calories per serving is it please ?? Looks great Can't wait to try
Hi Anne! This is around 340kcal per serving. Enjoy the recipe!
Hi l liked the look of your curry but I don't like coconut milk it makes it too sweet could you please recommend an alternative. Thank you Alan
Hey yoghurt or other types of milk would work out too :)
thank you Scott
all I have is milk? Can I replace it with coconut milk
Hi no, it needs to be tinned coconut milk
Can I replace the coconut milk with full fat double cream? I really don't like any coconut flavour thanks
I think that would be too rich. I'd use chopped tomatoes instead. Different flavour but would still be nice.
How much flour, and how many servings does this do?
Just use around 2 tbsp of plain flour and this is good for 6 portions. Enjoy and hope you like it!
@@ScottBaptie thank you
