I 100% recommend finding a nice shock absorber/arch support if you want to save your feet some soreness, these style of boots tend to be extremely stiff and very very flat. I will say to only go for half-sole inserts bc the toebox can get get painfully tight. I've come to notice that the while the liner itself breaks in, the carbon base of the boot doesn't really break in as much as a plastic boot in my experience, if at all.

Dude, plastic shells dont break in at all.

@@freshasadaisy4782 My experience with FE plastic shell skates definitely tells me otherwise. Could also be because I was mostly skating outside in the heat and I was WAY heavier at the time but I def felt them have a little more give after around 30-40 miles of skating

i love my original delta F. So comfortable and responsive. i have been waiting for the liner to give up so i can gut it and put in an intuition liner. any parts can be replaced by seba/fr parts. it's similar to seba Hight light carbon pro

I skate them, the shock absorption works, it's not one you can feel from looking at the insoles, but that stuff works, I be jumping around in mine. Just don't lace them all the way to the top so you get a lil bit of forward flex...

Hope you enjoy the Carbon Rockered Ride. Looks like the only thing making these a Version Two is rhe redesigned Melt Frames. The Boot looks identical to the Original Model.
I've been using a pair of the quite rare Micro Delta HML with the Original multicoloured Flame Frames for several months indoors outdoors rough and smooth, even the odd blast around a concrete Skatepark and nothing has broken or even come Loose for that matter.
I've become so used to using a Rockered Setup I couldn't imagine going back to Flat.
Just noticed Micro have released a Delta Force Jet Model - very bling bling version of that Black Force Boot with the New Flame Frame in Silver.
Looking at the naughty side of £700 to have a pair Imported to rhe UK.
Will ask Locskates if they can order them for me to avoid the Import sting!

Ooooh very excited to hear your thoughts on a full carbon set-up, I got a practically new pair of FR Igors 2nd hand and have been addicted to skating them after being out of the activity for around 10 years.

Definitely seems like the setup would fit well with elastic laces.

Carbon boots with integrated liners are the way for me. I Love my FR SL, which replaced my FR1 Intuition for all kinds of skating I do (urban, distance, wizard). The biggest difference you're going to feel is the lack of shock absorption. Skating rough terrain, landing jumps and bashing stairs are all less comfortable. I still prefer my carbon slalom boots for urban skating though.

How does the carbon shells hold up for jumps ect?

    • @rerollinginline

@@ThirtyandRollin so far, so good. Unless something is cracked that I can’t see. I’m not Nick Lomax, mind you lol. It’s not like I do crazy stunts or huge gaps and the majority of my time is just skating, not bashing the carbon. And if I am jumping, it’s not usually a drop, so its just whatever height I get from the jump. What I love is that the cuff is lower and I get a lot more ankle mobility, which gives mw more speed, agility and power. But it’s carbon so I’m still supported. It’s definitely a different kind of support compared to a plastic urban skate. I need to get around to my SL review video… It’s been almost a year now.

It's almost impossible to break a carbon shell, compared to plastic shells, when doing jumps or anything else harsh. Your knees and soles will hurt way before the carbon even feels it,

Dude loved the review! This skate is military looking 💪. Keep these reviews coming man. Curious to know how the carbon around the ankle is if it’s too stiff or still has some flex.

Man I'm stoked for you to give carbon a go! Great review and hopefully the shock absorption is okay despite the foot bed. I wonder if a heel pad would still fit.

isn't Micro skates only rips off FR/Seba because they were the one actually manufacturing for Seba? Or is it at last an original design?
what about quality of this brand?

The straps and boot design are almost identical to my SEBA High Lites. Almost like Micro ripped off SEBA's designs. I'll take the SEBA any day.
