Dude thank god, my girl was on the verge of leaving. I haven’t got my 10 inch boost in days, I thought your offer had expired. My relationship is living on a prayer bro, I need this shit
A pvp tip for new lights, get used to sliding from cover to cover in order to increase survivability. Sliding prevents enemies from landing headshots (depending on how good they are), but receiving bodyshots is much more favorable.
"you should theoretically run 100 recovery with Warlock" Me with my 100 mobility and tranversive steps: "the only problem of being faster than light, Is that you only live in darkness"
Hunters are so op i remember on d1 when all classes where balanced and each class did wat it was supposed to do i play titan an still do but the titan now is nothing like it use to be i could be frontline an protect my teammates now i die quick asf even tho we supposed to be the tank class
For new lights who need both weapon and armor mods, check in on Banshee on the daily to buy his mods. You can also cash in those Gunsmith materials for possible mod drops.
Dexterity mods can also help a lot if you don't have quickdraw. Paired with targeting you will have fast ready and ads speeds. Lightweight weapons also often have much higher handling than their fellow archetypes and intrinsically increases your mobility by 20 (when they are out) along with having a faster ready speed. Of course you will want to balance out your loadouts. If you are using a shotgun try using a primary with further reach. Hand cannons, pulse rifles, and auto rifles really fit the bill for most medium to long range engagements. Scouts are a little funny. Some can compete but most can be outclassed by other weapon types for most engagements. For snipers, try more close to medium ranged options. The adaptive frame hand cannons are popular because they excel at medium ranges. On controller, sidearms are a very good choice as most will deal with targets up to just under 20 meters in a very competitive time to kill (ttk). The line for where SMGs will work can be a little hazy. They have a little more reach than sidearms but they might not have the same ttk or ease of use. On a controller, their recoil may seem unruly unless you have a very specific roll. But even then they can be a little difficult to handle. For mouse users they are so much more approachable to manage. This is to the degree that the differences between the two is night and day. But if you're on a mouse you're more likely to use a 140 hand cannon anyways due to the higher skill ceiling. But for either case, use whatever you feel most comfortable with. For controller people you will want to make use of traction. Movement is very important and you'll find that people can zoom past you so being able to turn on a dime is essential. But if for some reason you like turning slower than someone who is paralyzed neck down then you do what you want. To me the turn speed is ridiculously slow on controller so I've cranked my sensitivity to 10 in addition with traction. In some scenarios even this isn't fast enough. Mouse users don't need to worry about traction because you fuckers can play around with mouse sensitivity. But like a lot of games this is a play how you feel thing so whatever works best for you. One final note for controller users. Try a little experimentation with the button mapping in your controls menu of the game. This will let you to move your abilities and actions around as you see fit and you may find something that works well for you. Buttons can be set to press, double press, or hold (for a very brief moment). For example, I have set my weapons set to the right bumper. Tap for switching to kinetic and energy then hold for power. This allows me to adjust where I'm looking while switching weapons. All without having to take my thumb off the stick. It may take a moment to get used to the custom mapping you set it to. My recommendation is to go in patrol and do some lost sectors and public events. When you are familiar with your new controls start going into strikes for building muscle memory. After that head into the crucible to really reinforce that memory in a somewhat competitive environment. At first your performance won't be the best but you should see improvement if you choose to stick with your controls.

Ok, no new player is going to read this but screw it, If you're picking up D2 to try: 1. bring a friend or try and find a hardcore player to do stuff with. You will greatly increase the amount of fun you have the more you limit how much interaction you have with the average rando you get matchmade with. 2. pick HUNTER. Hunter is by far the easiest class to use in all content and the most popular, it will make both solo and group content easier for everyone involved. 3. subscribe to Cheese forever. he's the biggest glitches and tricks youtube in the community, he's probably the only person in D2 that will singlehandedly save you anywhere from 5 to 20 hours on just about anything. 4. assess your options. D2 is only really fun when you start treating it like a hobby, if you don't like spending huge amounts of time doing really boring stuff for hours at a time SKIP THIS GAME: the best parts of destiny (Raids, dungeons, Trials) take a significant amount of time to even begin to do. 5. Don't get attached. Bungo (Bungie) will often make sweeping changes to the sandbox at random; overnight, things can drastically change or feel different from what you have been used to for months. This has been happening since the beginning, never get too comfortable with a weapon or ability because there is no guarantee that it will be the same in a month.
