    I have my surgery in 3 weeks. I have 2 cysts on my left ovary. One has been there for over 2 years and the other for about a year and a half. Unfortunately the doctor kept putting off my surgery I think mainly because they both are less than 6cm. Finally he realized it was starting to create too much pain to ignore and long periods. They speculate that they are chocolate cysts according to the ultrasound and by the fact that they haven't gone away. Which would indicate endometriosis. I hope you have/had a speedy recovery.

      Hi Tina! First of all thank you so much for sharing your story! I believe that story telling brings people together, we can learn a lot from each other and also less alone with our experiences. 🙏🏻
      I am wishing you all the best with the surgery, please take care of yourself before and after, deep breaths and do the recovery in your own pace! Sending so much love and health!!! Xxxx

    Hello 👋 Did it hurt when they took the catheter out.

      @effythenewone  18 днів тому

      Hi Cassandra! No, not really. To be honest it was so uncomfortable having to try to sleep with it so I was so glad it when they took it out. It's a really quick, few seconds process and it's more uncomfortable than hurtful. :)

    Do u feel anything during the surgery even under general anaesthesia? Wish you a speedy recovery ❤
    I am 26 years old diagnosed with adenomyoma and endo...I am petrified about the surgery

      Hi Marleyalvory3044! I didn't feel anything during surgery at all! I understand you completely as my biggest fear was the anaesthesia as well but I shouldn't have worried about that.
      I am planning to make a story time video where I talk about what happened between putting the gown on and waking up in the bed. Would that be helpful?
      Thank you for watching and wishing you all the strength and positivity on your journey 🤍🙏🏻

      Yes, I will definitely watch your upcoming videos. I was so nervous from the day when the doctors diagnosed I have adeno and endo. The first doctor suggested excision...while the second doctor suggested microwave ablation for adeno while excision for endo because I am anaemic. Still it is a painful surgery 😭
