i like it, its just too busy because of disorganization, otherwise, there are stalls and no one is selling on the streets. Just need to improve the roads and sidewalks and remove those bodabodas from there and it will be a very exciting down town

This is just one side of Kampala City. The side where there are hotels like the Sheraton, Speke, Banks, and Conference center are totally beautiful and they're in center City. So, your video is ok but not balanced representation of Kampala City Beauty. It's a City on 7 hills and stunning from various locations, especially at night.

Brown ugali in Uganda is called millet, not posho, only the white is called posho. Btw, Ugandans for the most part know what ugali is, they just call it posho. Ugali is just the Swahili name for it

Have read some comments with folks complaining he didn't film uptown bla bla bla as if there's so much there 😂. What he showed is the heartbeat of the city ----so much business is conducted in just downtown to keep the whole economy running not just Kampala. Traders from upcountry and neighbouring countries meet and trade here including overseas investors from India 🇮🇳, China 🇨🇳, Pakistan 🇵🇰, Turkey 🇹🇷, etc Remember this walk was done early in the morning so the downtown is only half-full 😂😂😂. By Mid-Day he would have had a hard time due to traffic - human, motorcycles, trucks, buses, etc. Also, the inside of all those building is packed with merchandise and human beings 😂😂😂😂. I like the fact that folks are able to hustle despite the challenges of daily life. Enjoyed the tour. Thank you.

Just imagine a country with only 29 million Ugandans and rest of 16 million are Africans and refugees from other countries...it's green rich that a fool of fools can survive..and museveni gave over much freedom that any stupid fool wakes up and does what they want....it's Africa's Switzerland and richest by all odds even richer than DRC in minerals...but too local too much freedom..etc. but outside Kampala is real fun..green landscapes every corner..it's arguably much better than Switzerland in Beauty.
Uptown Kampala is the opposite...it's much developed, greener more than Kigali and and uptown Nairobi...it's just that 60 acres (Main down town area,Nakivuubo, Kisenyi, Katwe, Kibuye & Kibuli) that are shit & ramshackle...but huge plans are underway to turn that area into state of the art area..with modern malls..all those ramshackle buildings will be demolished to construct modern malls, urban parks and Towers.

Yes it’s up town. More beautiful and calm. The part bring shown here is literally the hustle part of the city. You can get everything you need and want. Cheap hair dressers, whole sale shops etc the banks and corporate areas CbD are uptown on the hill.
