I watched a few of these and yours was the best overall. You included all of the points that always catch my eye, such as blocking the drain first and not potentially eating the chrome with channel locks. You also gave folks adequate views of what they would see when they open their own faucets up.
I appreciate this how to video, very clear and easy to follow instructions. It walked me through and guided me through the process and I was able to fix it myself. I have zero experience with plumbing. Thank you!
My wife was reticent about me trying this, your video was a step by step easy to understand presentation. Thank You, as I finished in less than an hour.

Thanks so much for your video. I love the way you tell the part names and their function. Your video is very informative and useful. I really appreciate this video.
Thanks so much for helping me fix the faucet so I wouldn't have to replace it. $2.50 and your clear directions and demonstrations and the drip is gone. Now it will work till we replace the vanity in a couple of years.

Hi, I've seen it called a Delta Faucet Wrench. Check out more home improvement tips in our e-books www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2KW1FQ9?notRedirectToSDP=1&.
Thanks for this video! Lots of videos like this since you originally uploaded it, but this is the best in my opinion. I wasn't able to get my cap off using my adjustable wrench (had to go out and buy a new one because it requires an oversized wrench). Keeps slipping off. Tried CLR/vinegar, and even heating the cap a bit with a blow torch around the edge to expand the metal, being careful not to melt the plastic cam. I think there's too much corrosion on the cap. Any other ideas?
Hi, you could try a penetrating oil. Wrap a cloth or paper towels below the cap and spray around the joint. Let it set for 30 minutes. Hopefully the oil can get to the threads.
I don't have a name-brand faucet. I have a single-handle faucet. The handle would go round and round so I purchased a new handle. The new handle is loose and now a small drip comes out of the faucet. What can I do to repair this problem?
Patricia, someone else may come along with more info, but my personal experience is don't replace your faucet until you can afford a name brand, Delta, Moen, Peerless if at all possible. Off brand faucets seem rather troublesome to me and not worth the upfront savings. FWIW. I'm "financially challenged" and always looking for a bargain. Cheap faucets haven't been a bargain for me.
Hi, I would check your local hardware store, if they don't have it in stock, they should be able to order it for your. You could also try the manufacturer. We have more home improvement tips on our weekly podcast itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/fix-it-home-improvement/id880903087?mt=2
It appears my set screw is either stripped or corroded. I can't seem to remove it with my allen wrench. What do you recommend is the best way to remove it? Also I am afraid the bonnet nut might be hard to remove after i get the handle off due to calcium and rust buildup. What are some tips to remove the bonnet nut?
Hi I would start by spraying the screw with a penetrating oil, then give it a try. You would then try using a screw extractor that matches the size of the hex opening.
Not all facets have a pin. mine did not. Nor did it have flats on the cap for a wrench. There are now scratches because it was corroded on. But thanks for the tips. If all goes well it is a simple fix. Note the rubber washers come in 2 depth sizes. I was glad I brought mine in to the store. One is 1/8 inch thicker but maybe both will work?
Great to see someone able to do a how to video without any extra talk, straight forward how to. Thank you!
Thanks.

Allen wrench stripped the set screw. Now I need a new faucet?

Hi, where is the leak? From the spout or handle?
@@FIXITHomeImprovementChannel I think I got it. I think I didn't have the white piece lined up right. It seems to be good now.
The setscrew on my Delta faucet was not 1/8 inch but smaller 5/64 inch, I had a time finding the right size.
