- Crazy Tube Circuits FALCON: "Two iconic amps in a box" (Fender 55' Tweed Deluxe & Fender 61' Princeton)
NO TALKING DEMO
Video & Song Produced by Alberto Barrero / 2019 © (recorded at Blue Sphere Studio)
*A bit of backstage info… back in 2016 we built a custom amp that was designed to morph between the sounds of a 5E3 Tweed Deluxe and a 6G2 Brownface Princeton. We liked the sound and feel of the amp so much that we decided to capture it in a pedal format *

More American playing than most Americans, ;).
The compression and flub of the '55 is SO GOOD. It sounds JUST like the _One of these nights_ solo and anything electric by Neil Young.
Brutal¡¡¡¡¡....me ha encantado este¡¡¡
Love mine great playing and demo Mr. B
Thank you!
Do you have any tips on using this pedal? I bought one, but can't get the sounds you display. Is your amp isolated? How mic'd? Any post production magic?. You sound awesome!!!
From what I understand, this pedal is very reactive to the type of amp you use. Fets tend to be like that. I'd recommend getting your amp on edge of breakup. In my experience, fet overdrives can be really harsh going into a clean preamp, and even if this is described as an amp in a box, you should let some of your amp through.
This is very true. I have this pedal, and if you run it into a clean amp at lower volumes, it really doesn’t sound that great. However, if you bring the amp up to the edge of breakup or juice your signal with a boost before the Falcon, it really shines, especially with the ‘’55 Tweed circuit. It takes a nuanced touch with the controls, too. But, if you get it just right, it’s got that distinctive hairy sizzle that the Tweed amps are known for.
Hola,Alberto!De que equalizacion partes en el limpio del dirty shirley para sacar ese fantástico resultado con el falcon?Muchas gracias de antemano.
Can be used this as a preamp?Nice
Best into the amp like a OD pedal.
@@AlbertoBarrero1 Thank you! Sounds really beautiful.
