    The new car market right now is pretty fast paced due to the lack of inventory. If there's a vehicle you want or need, buy it! If you don't someone else will. Today (off camera) one of the sales guys was with a client who was negotiating every which way on the price of a new Spark that just arrived. It got to the point pretty quick that if he decided he wasn't going to purchase today there was another salesperson was ready to call their client and get a deposit. With that he decided to buy it. Very entertaining Dealership Life video to watch Dave! Those Hemi engines are indeed a riot, my dad’s Grand Cherokee also has the 5.7L and it really scoots. Keep up the great work, you’re moving units…👍💯👍💯

    Dave! Thanks once again for sharing......Seeing you talking about that Avalanche brought back some memories for me! I had a red 05 w/out the Body cladding....LT trim. I loved it! I was in my early 20's when i owned it and it never let me down! It was so comfortable to drive.....I ended up selling it with around 160,000 miles back in 2015....It had minimal rust and still looked fairly decent on the inside. (Cloth Interior)
    Take care man!

    Congratulations on your sales. The Avalanche is still a wanted truck; especially the 2500 model with the 8100 engine. The Avalanche WBH ( Without Body Hardware) came out in 2003 as an option. SLP offered body colored plastic parts for the first generation Avalanche.
    In Memphis TN the top cars for theft: Any Hemi powered Dodge Durango, Charger and Challenger , Jeep Trackhawk and Ram TRX along with Infiniti's. Stellanis still hasn't figured out how to stop thieves from stealing their products out of dealerships, garages etc without the key fob.

    As a Chevy salesman during the time period, how common were the Avalanche 2500’s in period? I never knew they made those until I saw one recently and looked it up. Seems like those would be ultra rare

      @@DaveBsellsChevy that’s what I figured. Would have been pretty cool if they dropped the 6.6L duramax in an Avalanche 😂 but the 8.1L gasser was pretty badass too. My parents drove suburbans my whole childhood, and they had the 8.1L in one of them. Thing absolutely chugged fuel lol.

    I always thought the Avalanche was ugly. The black cladding always looked worn out & turned light grey. But in the early 2000s GM put tons of cladding on everything especially Pontiac. Its just ugly.

    Like the Durango b/c of the Hemi. However, depends how it was driven. Hopefully it doesn't have the fuel management system. Was interesting to see the older Avalanche.

  • @adamp2384
    @adamp2384 2 роки тому

    I would have been very leery on that 2015 Tahoe that had the momentary issue with check engine light especially being 7 years old and having that horrible active fuel management system, definitely would have been pushing service more to get down to the bottom of it, check engine lights and rough idle don’t happen for no reason

    Hey Dave just stumbled upon your channel!! Really Interesting and ty! I'm in the cell phone business ( not a $$ maker) and have been thinking of switching it up to auto sales. Before I found your channel, for about a year now been watching auto sales videos. What do you think about Andy Elliot or other gurus like Grant Cardone. Andy goes over mindset alot and has a mantra of " its my duty for customers to buy and as long as you do my job, they will buy"! What do you think about that mindset/hustle mentality? Thanks again
