I don't remember where it was but I remember reading something along the lines of that. The night sky might be something more malicious, a trap made to loo beautiful just to drag us out.
There are glow squid. They’re called firefly squid and they will use their light to find mates or attract prey. The problem is that they only live for a single year.
Didn't glow squids have a sort of hypnotic ability in their trailer? Maybe they will be able to mesmerize mobs (and players) to lure them into their grasp.
My mother-in-law and I went to the Glowworm Caves at Lake Te Anau in New Zealand. It was such an insane experience, floating in a tiny boat and gripping our hands like a vice. It was our first real bonding experience.
"6:06-6:09 Synchronsize their glow, yet we're still not sure why" Maybe to dazzle prey even more. If you entered a cave with these amazing lights, would you feel more badazzled by a synchronzized glow or randomd brightness all over the place. Meaning these worms might work together
Wow I love the shade of blue\white light they create, it's absolutely brilliant the way they've evolved to do such a thing and live the way they do. Just Awesome.😄👍
PLEASE do some videos on new zealand animals :D I was happy to see the glow worm, as we have them, but it would be amazing to see animals such as the weta, yellow eyed penguin, new zealand bat, etc. :D
The glow pattern synchronisation could be due to: Glow worms glow brighter when they feel vibrations of prey, signalizing others that there's prey to catch.
after seeing the selfie cam of Daniele in the dark with the hoodie. Can we get more ghost story time with Daniele? not suggesting a true crime series but maybe a nocturnal species series with night time live commentary shots. its spooky and great
Legend has it that in the past these glow worms used to hunt human as well. Some of them escaped though and to this day they carry the snares on their necks. A quick search in the Google images with the words "Elderly Lady" will provide enough evidence to this legend.
Danielle's pun game is getting better with each passing episode
Yea. Tbh, it’s scaring me.
The scripts writers are great at their work..... And she makes the words come to life like a great actor.
She is also getting Heavier. She needs to diet
@@ColonelMetus you need to shut up
I'd even say the puns were bright, shining, and radiant.
Plot twists: Stars aren’t giant balls of burning gases but are just gigantic space glow worms
Scp

@@chugchug72 Are you guys like 8 or something ?
If glow squids did this it would go up the tier list real quick
True that

@@zooemperor3954 we’re talking Minecraft. But yes, if only they would add dynamic light.
So you watch the Alien Biosphere series?
Didn't glow squids have a sort of hypnotic ability in their trailer?

Here in the Philippines we have many of them near bakawan forests but as time passes by, they started disappearing year by year

That's super sad :/ and such a common story these days with many creatures from all around the world.
i have mad respect for Danielle what an amazing artist and shes out here doing she we wish we could
They sure are :)
I saw them a few years back and they are incredible
I got to see them in Waitomo, New Zealand, but for their safety's sake, we weren't allowed to take pictures. It woould've been nice, but I get it.
Why ?
You said Pictures, didn't say about videos.
@@krimativity8526 a lot of places aren't allowing photos if the animals are at risk for poachers. The metadata of the photo can contain location info.
@@renoloverxoxo
Aha .. I didn't know that .. thanks
@LagiNaLangAko23 it depends on where. You might not know where exactly in the park they're located and need a guide to get there.
So close to New Zealand, do one of our nation's iconic animals... you've yet to do any from this little island nation at the bottom of the world.
the "hey fellow kids" humor of animalogic is the only acceptable one
"Glow Worms Are Lit."
Note: don't snuggle with them. That would be a BAD idea. They are not the Glo Worm, the stuffed toy for young children.
I understood that reference, and now i feel old.
Thanks for watching!
I love Animallogic i want to one day get daniel to do a drawing of a animal to get tattooed on me now that would be lit
If you don't COVER THE ROADRUNNER soon... I'm going to be very sad. :(
Can you do a video about shrikes?
They eat mosquitoes, you say? Remind me that invasive species are bad? 😛
Hey Danielle, could you do a video about the Texas Horned Lizard and how he can shoot blood out of his eyes?

I'm loving the increasing quality! One question: Why do you change the thumbnails after a few days in each video?
The music on the first part of the video is so funky!
Cant explain it
But the music was an oddly satisfying compliment to the sponsorship segment
An amazing critter that few people know exist.
If I lived in Australia, this would be my go to Saturday outing. I bet it was awesome in person.
Danielle Dufault; you are wonderful.
Turkey vultures, peregrine falcons, and Red tailed hawks when you're back home.

Those glowing worms maybe the best weapon to eliminate mosquitoes. Really want to import them!
