Thank you for this. It was the missing manual. I'm a noob and was pulling my hair out trying to make it work. One thing I still can't figure out. I am syncing with my daw via a midi to cv/gate/sync module. I can't figure out how to send the clock and reset signals. I suspect the clock signal goes to 'clk in' input on the modulator. But I have have no idea where to send the 'reset'
no need to send reset anywhere! Send clocks to the gate inputs in the Envelope Generators, or to the clock in like you said to sync the sample and hold.
Thank you SO much. I have the Erica Synths Fusion System 2 which is just like the one you've got here except mine has the extra module that I will eventually replace with a better sounding multiple fx module. I really think they should create a modular version of the Zen Delay. I'm new to Modular Synthesis and been teaching myself thru books & videos . It's very frustrating at times. I was expecting a manual to come with my new Erica Synths Fusion System 2 -nope...not even one to download . After watching your video, you explained everything very clearly and thoroughly, I understand the connections of each module, so many questions were answered ! Now I can re-watch your wonderful video whenever I get stuck , most of all I can finally patch up some sounds that are appealing to me, sounds that are in my head which I would love to create on a Modular Synthesizer. You, Sir, are a great teacher of Modular Synthesis. ¡ Gráçias ! 💡🌟✔
complete noob question, but why is my VCA constantly firing even without a CV input? Following exactly your parameters and patching it still makes an intermittent sound
the Envelope generators are looping, you need to set the OFF knob all the way Clockwise. If it still cycles you need to adjust. the trimpot in the back of the module! You set OFF potentiometers to ~3 o'clock and adjust R19 and R172 till it stops looping
Hi! Yes, just connect the output to your mixer! The output can be either of the VCAs, the filter or even the VCOs directly, depending on your patch and what you are doing. The signal is LOUD, so make sure to keep the gain pot down on your mixer
just purchased the Fusion System II so I am even more excited to test it out after watching this video, thanks for the demonstration and helpful insight :)
in the mean time huge huge fan this guy....he does a tremendous job. i watched the video eventho i'm not a fan of erica's fusion row....i love their pico!!!!
Thank you for the very good explanation! Now I am thinking of buying "Das Kleine Fusion" as my only synth. Would you recommend using a Kenton Pro Solo to let my Digitakt talk to it (I want to use just the 2 machines) or anything else? Thanks a lot! Also I would love to see you making drum sounds on the Fusion system only....
I SALUTE YOU! yes...I bought the Erica synth Techno system and is your fault :)))))) because of your you tube tutorial :)))))))))) Now ...You must help me! How to connect Das Klaine Fusion with Techno system to be a work live station or to work toughener like one sistem? Thank You! :)))
Hi, I have a question. I bought Erica Fusion system 2, The fusion modulator works even if you follow all the settings of the fusion modulator you applied at 3:10 seconds(A/D/On : 0, Off : Max). It works short pulse(Click) at intervals of about 3 seconds. Could it be that mine is broken?
hi, so yours is always cycling, doesn't wait for a gate when on max position? If that's the case there are two trimpots on the back you can adjust so it functions properly. You set OFF potentiometers to ~3 o'clock and adjust R19 and R172 till it stops looping
yes! the filter is very smooth, the oscillators with the triangle waves slightly saturated with the tube are sweet. Just overdub some layers and add reverb to taste and you have some nice pads
@@QuincasMoreira Care to demonstrate? :) I’m more interested in hearing a raw pad patch without any post recording layer in a DAW, etc, if that’s what you meant. I would definitely add reverb, but just want to hear how capable it is of producing one raw before I buy. It’s great at aggressive work, but I want to hear it’s softer side. :)

Thank you very much, finally I understand my Erica Fusion II even as a Noob. That also makes me understanding my other Synth more
literally the single most helpful walk through a modular rig I've ever seen.
Thank you so much! Clear and good explanation 🎉

Check Erica Synths Black Stereo Delay - it's a stereo delay with more features than ZEN ;)
@@girtsozolins4171 : Yes, thanks I'll give it a listen ~💡🐾🌟

This and the Black Sequencer are a match made in heaven :-)
hi! I just bought that sistem is it possible to tell my how could I connect this with a mixer directly or should I need something more.

Thanks so much! This is so good. Not much out there about this system and Erica Synths should pay you!

Awesome video. I have their bassline DB01. Love it's aggregasive tone. I might start saving for this. That tube saturation is so nice.l

Great!!! just make a subtractive voice with the Kleine Fusion and send it CV and gate from the drum sequencer!
youtube's gettin' a little out of hand with all their ϻσtherƑ↺₡₭ing intrusive @$δ ads.
