I have this case as well. Kickstand only works on smooth surfaces but otherwise a really solid case. The front cover display protection also makes it great in laptop mode, where the front screen is facing down. Without a case I rarely did this as I feared scratching the screen. Now I use that mode all the time to view content (instead of hr kickstand). Another solid case is the Nillkin case, which has lens protection as well.
I will definitely check on the Nillkin case. Yes I've totally seen better kickstands but this will have to do until I can find other cases worthy of my purchase. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video! I ended up purchasing the Libeagle case after watching this video and although the touch sensitivity is lower in the extreme corners of the screen, I think having the hinge protection is well worth the tradeoff. Hopefully we get some higher-quality cases for this phone in the future, but this one works for now!

I have tried several now. My favorite so far is the Foluu case. The real leather back makes it feel premium. Especially for the great price. Its snug so it stays on pretty well. I highly recommend it.

I like the DAMONDY Case. It's a wallet case that can hold a few credit cards. Extra protection as it covers the front screen also. Flexible so I don't have to take it off to use it with a car mount. Got it from Amazon.
I am on a similar path with one plus open cases & the last one in green is what I am holding onto. My only rant can be that the case gets a tad bit heavy considering we are already using a heavy phone to start with but no denying, this is the only case which made my phone feel safe😊
You probably could but you would have a void where the hinge protector hinges are especially if you don't have a clean cut or snap it cleanly off. At that point you may want to look for another case. Thanks for watching.
I've been using this same case for about 2 weeks. My only issue, which is huge is the touch sensitivity on the front screen is really bad near the bottom of the screen. It almost always requires multiple swipes to go home or hit touch targets on the bottom of the screen. I even removed the factory installed plastic screen protector and it didn't help.
I had (and have) this issue with this case as well. What did help me was playing with the sensitivity settings that this phone has. It's not perfect but it's no longer a deal breaker. I don't miss any swipe ups. But moving left/ right between apps isn't 100% accurate. So I went back to using the app switcher for that
Great Job. I have this case you like. I have 2 gripes with it. I don't really care for the screen protector, over time, it misses some gestures. However, my BIGGEST issue with it is the weight. My phone got significantly heavier. It's ok at first, but over time, it's annoying. That being said, it is still a fantastic case and will secure the OPO!

Tried this case, but didnt like it. The kickstand is too low on the case. And the front screen doesnt register all touches. And it gets bulkier. So I just took it off and ordered a kickstand and sticked it to the back of the phone which works great
I have one of the many clones of the libeagle case. I actually didn't like the kickstand so I ripped it off and stuck on a lovehandle pro which I'm quite happy with.

I had the case that she shows at the end within less than a week maybe 3 or 4 days The kickstand broke and started peeling away from the back of the case
i actually just got this case in the mail 10 minutes ago and im already returning it. the kickstand is too far off center to support the phone when its open and it just falls over.
I have a clear one with the screen protector built in but I think I like the one you got as it also has a camera cover and a kickstand. I like the hinge protector better than the ones for the Samsung which are very very thick.
Man, I just got the Open yesterday and was disappointed how dBrand doesnt have cases or even skins for the Open but they have for the Pixel Fold 😢. I guess money talks.
@@reth3822 I tried but it shattered and then it was a pain getting the small shards off the outer edge. Next time I would warm it up gently with a hair drier to stop the fragments breaking off around that outside lip and to release the glue
I also own a few different cases of clear a heavy duty with the kickstand that you have and a faux suede one also Go back and forth with hinge cover when my work and when I'm out of work I'll switch back to ones without got to keep it safe😅😅
I've been caseless and sometimes I alternate and use the included case, does the job. I agree tho not many good cases for the Open, and these no name brand are trash (I've tried a few myself and ended returning them). I rather pay premium if I really wanted a case given the poor quality and also the fact this device cost so much might as well pay up for a food quality case.
Dbrand could have made a killing with a grip case similar to the one they made for the Pixel Fold. The Nilkin case is the one I am using on my device currently. Thanks for watching.
I got this same car, green one and gold one as well as a silver one as in the camera and stand are silver but everyone else is clear. Off eBay about 20 to 18 dollars much cheaper but same quality! Love em! Oil share my links with you when I find em !

Biggest issue with foldables... I have just bought 2 skins for my open full cover a tempered glass and thats it I'm done :)
Yeah, there are not many accessories for this device at all and bigger case makers dont really make cases for this device.
Nillken is the best I've used by far. Only annoyance is having to open the camera flap but lve quickly gotten used to it. Kickstand works amazing.

Can you remove the hinge protector? I like look of the back but don't want to use the front or hinge protector

The phone is in great condition, I did remove the inside screen protector from the case.

Mine had an additional issue with the front piece. It had most of the sceeen showing up like air bubbles under a screen protector. Huge eye sore.
