- Through the help of some friends I was able to get in contact with a local arcade and pick up my first Arcade/Japanese Candy Cab.
So watch me as I hit the road with the assistance of a friend and start this Journey for such a great pick up. - Ігри

That is a damn clean unit for being in an actual arcade. Your also lucky you got the stools too, those stools go for $200 a piece here in the states.
Yeah it was not bad. Still love the kiosk and am still really happy he surprised me with the chairs. They add to it alot

Gez Fry It is actually surprisingly easy to move and not to heavy. Should be easy to move. If you can keep the arcade upright when moving it due it that way. By putting it on the side you can mess up the coloring in the monitor like mine did later in the video. You can buy a deguase stick to fox this but I personally do not have any experience doing that so not sure how hard or simple that process is. But good luck on the purchase it is something you will not regret at all.

Schmotzky I so wish I could of made that possible. But just dont have any extra space in there. Hopefully in the future I have a decent sized place where I can utilize a full basement set up. That is the ultimate goal as of now.

Haha, it's funny, when I was watching the part of the video when you were trying to get the cab into your friends car, I was thinking 'Where's the Benny Hill Music?!?', then when it actually did play it made my day :)

Yeah the music was perfect for that part. I kinda figured I was going to do something to speed that part up as I did not want the video to drag out, but once that song came to mind there was no changing it lol. Glad you enjoyed the video and I am really happy for you that you are getting one of these your self. You will not regret it.

abhitron honestly not sure if the monitor is multisync. But you are right about the door. Has some weight to it, probably to prevent people from breaking in to steal the money that would have been collected by people playing it.

The one i’m getting has been badly repainted by the seller... I wonder if I could strip the paint off safely from the fibreglass and give it a gorgeous new glossy coat...

Honestly have no clue myself. When I lived in Japan I had a friend who was friends with a arcade owner. Took about a year to convince them to let one go. That is when I made this video

Ray yeah there is some cool stuff out there. The program that is in my candy cab is called pandoros box and I noticed companies have created fight sticks with the program built in that you can install to your tv. Not sure if you want to go that route. Having the candy can is just awesome for the experience of having a arcade in the home. I am currently in Okinawa, Japan which is where I purchased this.

Joshua Ramey Sadly it was just reaching thru a friend who got me in contact with a local arcade. However the first time I reached out to him the arcade was hesitant to sell and les to know where. So it was months in the making before I actually got it.

It is called the Sega New Astro City and it was purchased in Okinawa.

kiosh The width of the candy cab is 74.9cm so it will not fit in your elevator unfortunately :(

Havent lived there in years. Place was a local place that was still active as a arcade. So they were a bit reluctant to even sell me one to be honest
