I’ve honestly spent the last three months learning about Sikhism, and I’m not completely sure why. I was raised in a Christian household but I’ve never felt that it was my calling. I’m not saying that Sikhism is either but for some reason, I just can’t stop the want to know more.

You don't do pooja in Gurudwara. There is no entity to do pooja in Gurudwara. The guru is the shabad(words) in Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Guru is the bani, bani is the guru. Here the Guru is the wisdom/Shabad/bani.
How can I adopt Sikhism? There are no Gurdwaras in Iceland..!! Me and my friends are very much attracted to this faith but we don't have any place of worship.., neither do we have anyone to guide us...pls help

I'm an atheist but every Sikh I have ever met has been very kind and friendly, and I want to teach my niece and nephews so they understand who Sikhs are what you believe. I want to take them to a Gurdwara but was worried we would disrupt proceedings by not knowing what to do, and didn't want to go until I was absolutely sure we wouldn't unintentionally do something potentially offensive. You shouldn't be so worried about offending Sikhs. The practice of our life is to love and accept others, not get offended. If someone gets offended by a newcomer... they have lost their connection with the divine principle.

there is an Gurudwara near the place I m staying currently. I cross it every week atleast once and bow my head down to Guru g. but I feel shy to go in what others will think. have happened when I visited a church for d first time.

Actually the technology is this- keeping unshorn hair and tying it on your head and then tying a full turban and meditating keeps your generated energy intact and doesn’t allow it to dissipate also collects more energy from around you. I request you to make a documentary , which explains the lay out of gurudwara complex . The said complex like ; 1. Nishan , 2. Darbar hall , and , details about Guru Granth Sahab , 3. Dispensary , medical services , 4. Rest rooms , 5. Library , 6. School , 7. Langar hall , kitchen , etc .
The Guru Granth Sahib opens with the basic concept of the One Universal, supreme Energy called by so many different names across humanity,. Ik oankar - One absolute being (God) Satnam - Eternal truth it's name Karta Purkh - Creator Nirbau - without fear Nirvair - without hate/ enmity Akal Murat - Deathless/timeless image Ajuni - Beyound birth and death Saibang - self existant Gurprasad - known by the Guru's Grace. This is repeated numerous times and at the start of every section as a constant reminder. In the words of the tenth Sikh Guru - Guru Gobind Singh "recognise the human race as ONE"

Good question. Not every gurdwara is set up for people to easily circulate around the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, and even if they are, it is not compulsory and not everyone will decide to make a round after they bow. It is a personal choice as a show of reverence and is up to the individual and circumstances of the specific space, as to whether people feel comfortable doing so. Generally, when people do make a round after they bow, it is only one round. (the exception being in weddings. In that case, the couple getting married makes 4 rounds, specifically as part of their wedding ceremony.) Hope this helps.

Good question. Not every gurdwara is set up for people to easily circulate around the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, and even if they are, it is not compulsory and not everyone will decide to make a round after they bow. It is a personal choice as a show of reverence and is up to the individual and circumstances of the specific space, as to whether people feel comfortable doing so. Generally, when people do make a round after they bow, it is only one round. (the exception being in weddings. In that case, the couple getting married makes 4 rounds, specifically as part of their wedding ceremony.) Hope this helps.
