Chris Buck has a talent for not overplaying while still keeping the solo emotional, like a voice. That's a rare skill. It's inspiring me to try to do the same.
For me, that's what it's all about. Technique on its own is nothing. A dictionary definition of 'music' I read years ago said that music is 'the art of expression in melody or harmony' (rhythm could be added to that too). It's a shame that more people don't get that.

This is 10,000% betterer than everything on mainstream pop radio in the U.S. these days.
Didn’t know mainstream pop radio still existed. It shouldn’t if it does. Reminds me of the battle between AM and FM radio in the sixties. AM wouldn’t play anything over 3 minutes long while FM was playing whole album sides at times. No surprise that FM won the battle and AM resorted to talk radio.

He's admired as a musician and guitarist, and very much liked as a human by everyone who's met him, that I've ever known, anyway. Music is his life, and he's very happy to talk to anyone about it when he's not playing. I'm sure his ridiculously youthful looks don't do him any harm either! Worra bastud!

Not easy 3 piece band making it sound full, but they do a nice job of keeping it interesting. Buck make his guitar sound like 3 guitars, amazing.
We lost Srv, and then Eddie , and we'll not everyone loves JM . But we now have a guitar player that moves me the same way they did in the 80's . Chris Buck , as good as anyone, and he will be remembered the same way as Page , Mayer , Blackmore , Carlton, Trucks , and etc

Great space between fills, a typically great tone, and that high end harmonizer (?) on the economically restrained solo is the touch just needed.
Also, that’s a killer rhythm section. Groove is tight. Love the singer.

This track is very tight. Drummer creates a great pocket for the rest of the guys to play in. Vocals are smooth, bass is in sync with the beat, and you guitar work shines. I really enjoyed this cut.

OK, that's it. I just pulled the trigger on a Revstar 502 with P90s and wrap over bridge. Hard to find but I got a legit price. It will be my first P90 guitar ever. Stoked!
