Me: "Why do I care about the daily life of some person I've never met on social media?"
Also me: "Wow.... She's so much like me. She does real estate (like me), has her own company (I also have a music entertainment business), loves her dogs, and loves coffee...." And now, after following you for almost a year, I find out that you've also been financially challenged like me. :) I've been a licensed REALTOR for 2 years now. I burned through my savings the first year and this year has been my 2022 (for you). I just started locating with a smaller group - I worked onsite in property management prior to becoming licensed so it just made sense to do more locating than residential. I know there's a light at the end of tunnel - I have a listing on the market, an active buyer, and several leads ready to search for apartments - but I'm taking on gig work to make it through the holidays and damn, its tough. I also grew up poor as well. I needed this video right now.
This by far has been one of my favorite videos of yours. I know it’s vulnerable to let us know the real story of your finances but it helped me so much to feel like I’m not alone. I’m not where I used to be but not where I wanna be financially but I know it can get better. Your video gave me hope so thank you for sharing! I’m 63, have 2 fake knees, and retired. My school had business classes so that was what I took. I’m so glad that I did because I had no surprises when we started our marriage almost 43 years ago. I’m so glad you are doing well. Keep up the good work and don’t forget to enjoy life too❤️
Thank you for making this video! I'm an apartment locator in Dallas. I am preggo with my second child. I have lost motivation for the moment. I blame myself, hormones and poverty. The throwback pics 🥹it's still mind boggling that there is no financial classes in high school at the very least! Why do they not teach these things in school?! I didn't know about credit score until I moved out in 2021 LOL. Omg I remember you moving into the condo!! I'm so glad things turned up for you after going through a rough patch in 2022. I'm sooooo proud of you and how far you've come! Such an inspiration!! ✨
I always enjoy watching your videos but this is by far the best one I’ve watched. I grew up very similarly and I have three kids now and I try to diligently teach them about money and how it can affect their life. But seriously, how can our parents teach us about money if they don’t have any? Thank you for your content Keisha and congrats on your engagement! ❤

Just last week I was thinking about quitting apartment locating to go back into being a leasing agent because I’ve had really slow months. But seeing this video and knowing I could potentially make over 10k is motivating me, I needed to hear that. Could you please make a video sharing tips on how to grow your clientele and how to get good quality leads? It’s definitely hard to find the motivation when you’re having down months but it can always get better! But yes!! I definitely want to make more locating content so definitely talk more about lead generation!
