These new eyeshadow palette prices are ridiculous. No palettes for me because often I am a one-and-done woman. I thought I would love the new Merit shadows, but 1. they are patchy and 2. the colors are much more warm than claimed.
I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I just can’t get behind the (to me) nonsensical arrangements of the shades in a Natasha Denona palette. There isn’t a gradient, the shades don’t particularly seems to be arranged in quads…..I just don’t get it. I usually like her palettes more when I see someone on Instagram rearrange them.
I've had the ND I Need a Nude palette for a week or so now. It's the only palette I've purchased in 2023 and no regrets. I love warm tones, but those rosey tones and minky browns are absolutely beautiful. You can go smokey or really soft, romantic/wedding like looks and I'm pretty surprised I can't stop using it since getting it 😊
I have an old Tartelette In Bloom palette that needs replacing-I’m wondering if the ND would be a good replacement for that fostering neutral vibe that I love about the In Bloom. I had the Retro palette, and it made me look dead, so I gave it away-I’m alittle nervous to buy another expensive ND
Totally agree, if I was going to drop $70, it would definitely be Natasha Denona, I need a nude. I don’t often spend this kind of money and eyeshadow, but this one is calling my name.
Years ago Beyoncé had a perfume called Heat and another one called Heat Rush. I LOVED the rush. They’ve since been discontinued. They were more affordable, sold at Walmart. It’s been at least a decade but I’m so curious to smell it again!
Another 2 warm palettes from Patrick Ta and Kosas. 🥱 ho hum same old same old. Another smoky palette by ABH- 😴 snooze A great new REALLY NEUTRAL palette by Natasha Denona 🎉🎉🎉 neutrals that are really neutral- not heavily orange tinged. Not so dark they’re hard to blend out!🎉🎉🎉 YES PLEASE!!!!
As someone who pretty much only wears light to mid tone matte neutrals, I ordered the Patrick Ta and the Kosas the SECOND they were released. The second I hear creators say something is underwhelming I know I"m sold. I will say, putting a shimmer or glitter over the creams in the Patrick ta palette is soooooo good. 😂😂
I'd like a fenty stick foundation review and a tutorial on how to apply stick foundation!! I also have dry skin and have never tried a stick foundation
As a massive HM fan, I actually think this collection matches how Disney has been merchandising the ride for the past few years. Years ago they really focused on the dark plums of the walls and dark greens of the uniforms. More recently they’ve focused on the teals and vibrant purples. I prefer the old branding scheme myself, but as a whole, I think this collection makes sense. I wish there was a cute item, like a mirror or bat hair clips to go with the collection. I don’t love wearing these tones myself, so having that extra item would have been nice.
Kelly, Johnny Ross just did a review on the Milk makeup new powder. It was good at first, but it didn't blur, he said. He said he would pass on it if he was gonna purchase it himself. Just sharing. Love your hair here.
Sephora employee here! We received 85 3.4 oz bottles of the SDJ After Hours and it was sold out within one week! We were not expecting that at my location at all!
Fully FULLY agree about the eyeshadows. And I think the Lilac has something to do with the “quality” feeling poor in the Kosas palette. The tones of the Patrick Ta one are just so great. And I love the idea of having a one and done palette like this. But it’s HUGE.
If you thought the Kossas palette was for face, I would like to hear your thoughts on the new Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette.Geared more for professional makeup artists I think. Its a pass for me!
It's funny how think foundation sticks would work better on an oily skin because, as an oily skin girl, I find that they are too... rich for my skin type. Like, they have to be creamy so you can blend them, and that creaminess is just too much. I just become a greasy mess sooooo fast. But I can understand how it can work on a dry flaky skin. I still want to try the Fenty foundation stick anyway.😂 And I think the difference between the Kosas and PT palette is that the PT one has richer coulours. the one from Kosas look muted newt to it.
Every nude palette that has launched lately has all looked the same to me. It's like they are trying to force a trend and it's not what we want. Fetch aint gonna happen girl 🤪 Everybody already has a go to nude palette. I already have my Honest Beauty pallette with all of the tried and true nudes. I am very interested in the new ABH pallet. That looks amazing! It's almost autumn already; give me color!
eyeshadow sticks are so underrated! i have 2 and i just love them. i think i used to make assumptions that they would be dry and not blend but they do! i just apply it straight from the crayon and blend with my finger and it looks so effortless
I would love it if you tried the Fenty Eaze Drop Stick! I have dry skin so I would love to hear how it would work for you because I'm super curious about it
I’d love to hear more about your Disney college experience!! I didn’t realize that you were in that program. And yes to seeing all of the Fall/Holiday releases, so fun!
Speaking of prediction videos, I have an idea: what if you made a bingo card for your 2024 predictions! It could be fun to see if you get bingo with your predictions (even if it’s just a virtual card)
The Natasha Denona palette is perfect! I’m pale and cool toned and it is so flattering! I love her shadow formulation so much I grabbed the glam palette, too!!
As someone with a very similar skin type to yours, the Fenty Stick Foundation is really amazing, at least in my opinion (and I’m not big on stick foundations either). I’d love to see a review to see what you think!
I agree that it's too soon for Holiday launches...especially because it's been 90 degrees still in NJ! The MUR Advent Calendar features all of the products shown, in it, so you will know ahead of time if you want to purchase!
In regards to Beyoncé: I was able to smell it at her concert in LA over the weekend and I have to say: delicious. The way that the rose and honey play together with the myrrh giving it a kinda funky lived-in musk in the base is BEAUTIFUL. I cannot wait to wear it. ALSO, you were correct with the beauty brand. She’s launching haircare
Great video! I agree, it feels way too early for holiday releases!! Also, I would love to see a video on the fenty easedrop stick and how it compares to the original!
I’ve been noticing that color pop is starting to show away from the bold colors like they used to have back in the day. When I got the Naruto palette. I felt that some of the shades did not match with the names that they put with it. For example, a move shade for hidden sand village when it should happen to gold instead when it’s more atone to send. I think the super shocks matched a lot better with their character names not the pallet itself.
Kelly, talking about foundation sticks and shadow sticks. I think it's just companies just following trends. Also the beauty companies are hoping on the fragerence bus becuase fragerences are profitable. Also I agree with you, if I can find shadow sticks and palettes and some foundations in more affordable price points and better quality. Also $90 for a scented lotion...that's absurd?! One thing I would like for you to revieew is the Milk Transluecent Powder.
I agree on blind buying fragrance. I have been burned a few times. Especially when they are pricey I can’t justify spending money on something I might like or use. Loving fragrance is a blessing and a curse. Hahah
I feel the same exact way as you about the palettes😂 I bought the Patrick Ta one and I already have the makeup by Mario master mattes💀 but no got he kosas
This year, I have been not buying as much makeup and I am actually ok with that. I have taken a break from face makeup but nail polish has been my weakness! I have been weak over nail polish! But I feel like lately, I have been just reaching for the same products in my collection over and over again! The only makeup I have really bought is a new foundation, Urban Decay Space Cowboy (thanks to Kelly!) and mascara replacements. The only thing that’s tempting me is actual the ND I need a nude palette but that price tag (Australian here, it is $114 AUD!) so I am like I don’t need it but I lust over it! But I also know I won’t use it because I gave away my barely used ND glam and bronze palettes to my sister in law!
Ohhh please get the PT palette. I need your opinion before I spend my money. It looks so good. I saw so many showing such similar swatches on the ND palette to the ColourPop StoneColdFox.
I know it's gimmicky, but I am oddly intrigued by the Colourpop Haunted Mansion palette - it's nothing special, but I see myself using all the colors, and it's so very Halloween without opting for the usual red, orange, white, black colors! Kelly, it's 2017 you in a palette - maybe a Halloween/Disney throwback GRWM?
I’m not interested in any of the first 3 neutral palettes but I was actually drawn in by the fall romance by abh 👀 I can see myself buying it 💟 I’m not getting the haunted mansion palette but I thought it was cute! probably going to spend more money on Disneyland merch 😅 I’d be curious if the stick foundation works for your dry skin
The Haunted Mansion palette will be mine. I STAN for Halloween 🦇 collections! IMHO, brands should do MORE Halloween collections and chill on the Holiday collections. Holiday is ALWAYS overdone and released too early. Edited to add: I'm happy ABH made the Fall palette with the old school fuzzy packaging. I'll watch some reviews but I definitely have my eye on it. I used to collect ABH palettes when they were in the fuzzy packaging. The last ABH palette I bought was Jackie Aina or the Riviera palette. Nothing since from the brand. Norvina ruined it for me.
Oh the purples in the ABH palette speak to me, BUT I 1. don't buy from them anymore tbh and 2. I own the menagerie flight club palette so i have all the purples I'll ever need.
I love the Fenty skin tint stick - I have dry skin and it just melts into the skin. I’ve never try the normal skin tint but after trying this i want to try that one too
I love the shift towards one and done like the shadow sticks. Also, I love the Hourglass foundation stick so I'd appreciate a review of the Fenty foundation stick, please and thank you!
The Colourpop X Disney Haunted Mansion collection is probably not only inspired by the iconic ride but also the new Haunted Mansion movie that came out back in July (it was pretty good IMO). I’m definitely picking up the palette because I love the ride and the movie 🎥 🍿 ❤
I agree about the Kosas palette- it doesn't do anything, looks cheap and borderline a face palette rather than eyeshadow. The Patrick Ta has more depth but I am not into cream eyeshadows... Still wondering about the I need a nude one. 🤔 About the powder, I tend to prefer pressed powders as well but I'm really into the Hourglass veil one! 😅 Would be curious to hear your thoughts on the Milk one... If you're thinking about it! 😂
I am hoping to pick up the Natasha I Need a Nude and the ABH Fall Romance soon. I am not drawn to the Kosas at all, it looks boring even for a nude palette.
I want the I need a nude palette so badly. I am not a palette girly, but these are the only colors I wear on my eyes-I have about 10-15 depotted shadows and some single shadows that are pretty much this palette (I don’t have any bronze-y glitters besides Lithium though). About 50% of my eyeshadow is very expired though which makes me want to buy it. I have noticed that a lot of the looks are smokey. I wonder if they all utilize that dark dark brown shade or if the other mattes are really that dark? I’m not sure. the last time I felt this way about an eyeshadow palette was the Mario Ethereal Eyes palette and I regret not buying it.
Most of the reviews I've seen that compare the ND to other palettes in detailed swatching say it's an EXCELLENT alternative to the Mario. Not like 100% dupe, but very close and this one has more shadows I believe. (I don't have either palette though so take it with a grain of salt.)
I like that ND palette, I might get it, but I'm in no rush. I also like that ABH palette; dark colors, perfect for holidays.❤ I get it's not for everyone, and see a lot of ppl hating on it. I don't mind, that way it won't go out of stock, lol. And tha CP palette looks very pretty. As well as the super shocks.
I prefer smaller palettes these days. I enjoy some ND minis. I feel mini nude, mini biba, and some shades in mini retro would be very similar to the I need a nude. Not saw anyone compare those. Just bigger palettes.
I have the new ND palette, wouldn't be interested in the PT even if it was less. Shades look too dark for me. I like the HM color and the ABH launch, but not going to purchase. I cannot even begin to think about the holiday situation. Ugh. 😂😂
I hope the new Milk loose powder is really good because if they're gonna discontinue their whole blur product line only to rehash basically the entire idea of Blur with Pore Eclipse, the products had better be improvements on their predecessors. Although this is Milk Makeup, so I think their peak is probably behind them
New Makeup Releases that are in my pass category are: - Kosas Undressed Eyeshadow Palette -> how would anyone create a look using this palette? - Patrick Ta Major Dimension III Matte Eyeshadow Palette -> not for the price and it looks boring - Colourpop Haunted Mansion Collection - Sol de Janeiro After Hours Perfume Mist - Beyonce Perfume - FENTY Body Cream - Too Faced Three Piece Travel Size Plumping Gloss Trio Set, and Let It Snow Globe Limited Edition Three Piece Palette Gift Set - NYX Professional Makeup 12 Days of Kissmas and Butter Lip Gloss Beneath the Wreath
I remember when Beyonce had perfumes. I still have a couple. Nothing special about them. So far, I've avoided buying anything. Except for maybe that ABH palette, although I might look indie for that.
The kosas palette gives me the same vibe as these random eyeshadow palettes at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s from brands I’ve never heard of
Ooh yes I agree!
The Kosas palette looks like something you'd get from Claire's
YES
You nailed it 😂
literally what i was thinking. and they have no preservatives so it would expire in a flash.
It gives me Tarte vibes
@@laur83their concealer ruined my skin :(
These new eyeshadow palette prices are ridiculous. No palettes for me because often I am a one-and-done woman. I thought I would love the new Merit shadows, but 1. they are patchy and 2. the colors are much more warm than claimed.
YES to break down videos! I seldom buy holiday themed products, but I thoroughly enjoy price breakdown videos. 🥳
I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I just can’t get behind the (to me) nonsensical arrangements of the shades in a Natasha Denona palette. Saaaame! I do NOT need it, but I swatched it in store and it is beyond gorgeous! The shade Mia has my heart!!!
@@melissakessler77 yes!! The Cupid mini and the glam palette are my other favorites!
Years ago Beyoncé had a perfume called Heat and another one called Heat Rush. I LOVED the rush. They’ve since been discontinued. They were more affordable, sold at Walmart. It’s been at least a decade but I’m so curious to smell it again!
that beyoncé perfume sounds incredible. i loved heat. i wish taylor swift would bring her perfumes back 🥺
Another 2 warm palettes from Patrick Ta and Kosas. 🥱 ho hum same old same old. Another smoky palette by ABH- 😴 snooze
A great new REALLY NEUTRAL palette by Natasha Denona 🎉🎉🎉 neutrals that are really neutral- not heavily orange tinged. Not so dark they’re hard to blend out!🎉🎉🎉 YES PLEASE!!!!

I would love for you to review the Fenty Beauty stick foundation. As a fellow dry skin girlie I would love to know if it's friendly for us haha
The hair and the flowers? 10/10 vibes Kelly

That new ABH palette is intriguing af to me, that colour story is GORGEOUS, it's such a pretty fall/winter palette
It’s very pretty!

Hi! Fenty stick review please! In dry skin is interesting to see what. Thanks 😘🙏🏼💜
As a matter of fact, what I’m really into right now, is my Tarte Clay play… The original. those eyeshadows and bronzers still go on like butter.
I am intrigued by the Anastasia fall palette. I order it yesterday. Can't wait to get it.
I think I am the only person who doesn’t enjoy shadow sticks (even though I keep trying!) and find them harder to use than powder or cream eyeshadows!
I agree! I never get the payoff I'm looking for and on me they almost always crease (tho I also get that from liquid shadows)
You are not alone! I don't care for them at all.
I like the ones from Hard Candy and a few from Elf but they definitely are more of for a quick minimal no frills look for me
I love the Fenty skin tint stick - I have dry skin and it just melts into the skin. I’ve never try the normal skin tint but after trying this i want to try that one too
Pls do a review the fenty foundation sticks! I'm intrigued by them too tbh
the fenty perfume is my fave! interesting
The ND nude palette is WONDERFUL! I got it, first Natasha denona palette ever, and I do love it
Get the After Hours body spray!! I have the same body spray as you and I LOVE the new one
Geek out of water also has dry skin and raved about the v
Fenty foundation stick. Please try it!
Is it just me or is the new ABH palettes giving old school Coulorpop Good Sport vibes?
I love the shift towards one and done like the shadow sticks. Also, I love the Hourglass foundation stick so I'd appreciate a review of the Fenty foundation stick, please and thank you!
The Colourpop X Disney Haunted Mansion collection is probably not only inspired by the iconic ride but also the new Haunted Mansion movie that came out back in July (it was pretty good IMO). I’m definitely picking up the palette because I love the ride and the movie 🎥 🍿 ❤
I got the ND INAN palette, and I love it!!! The formulas, the textures and the colorstory is amazing!
You should definitely try the Fenty stick, it works great on dry skin and blends very easily.
I agree about the Kosas palette- it doesn't do anything, looks cheap and borderline a face palette rather than eyeshadow.
The Patrick Ta has more depth but I am not into cream eyeshadows...
Still wondering about the I need a nude one. 🤔
About the powder, I tend to prefer pressed powders as well but I'm really into the Hourglass veil one! 😅 Would be curious to hear your thoughts on the Milk one... If you're thinking about it! 😂

Please could you do a review on the Milk powder?! 😍 thank you!
Please review the fenty stick
Oh I'm definitely getting the Natasha Denona palette! Its sooooo my perfect palette!
Kelly, which is your fave blurring powder right now? I'm also a powder girlie (and also interested in the Milk one, lol).
I was actually pretty impressed by the haunted mansion palette! Probably not gonna but it, but the color story seems pretty unique to me.
The only thing tempting me right now is the ColourPop Haunted Mansion stuff. 💜 I don't use palettes, but all the other goodies look really fun! 🖤💀🕸✨
I love ND mini palettes and just can't get into the full size palettes, they annoy me because of the oversized component.
Ugh. 😂😂
I’m not ready for fall yet either
The after hours smells so good already bought a backup sincr its LE
I hope the new Milk loose powder is really good because if they're gonna discontinue their whole blur product line only to rehash basically the entire idea of Blur with Pore Eclipse, the products had better be improvements on their predecessors. Although this is Milk Makeup, so I think their peak is probably behind them
I love your videos you are such a joy to watch
New Makeup Releases that are in my pass category are:
- Kosas Undressed Eyeshadow Palette -> how would anyone create a look using this palette?
- Patrick Ta Major Dimension III Matte Eyeshadow Palette -> not for the price and it looks boring
- Colourpop Haunted Mansion Collection
- Sol de Janeiro After Hours Perfume Mist
- Beyonce Perfume
- FENTY Body Cream
- Too Faced Three Piece Travel Size Plumping Gloss Trio Set, and Let It Snow Globe Limited Edition Three Piece Palette Gift Set
- NYX Professional Makeup 12 Days of Kissmas and Butter Lip Gloss Beneath the Wreath
I remember when Beyonce had perfumes. I still have a couple. Nothing special about them. So far, I've avoided buying anything. Except for maybe that ABH palette, although I might look indie for that.
I used to love the beyonce heat perfume line, all of them. Wish her new one was at that old price point 😅
Lol a haunted mansion movie came out a month or so ago, hence the palette (if you can’t tell, it flopped….)
There was so little marketing for it, and why release in the summer?
@@maryeckel9682 yea marketing is all out of whack because of the sag strike, very weird that it came out when it did though
