Yeah I know the whole drama from both sides, Mzarek (RevX original company and designer) and Miroslav (CZEM Drill One the company who invested money to scale up and put this bike into production).
Mzarek is fine with me uploading Drill One videos and said “this is not your problem, we can’t export RevX to Australia so it doesn’t matter” their biggest “fight” is for their domestic market where Mzarek got his motor patents.

What kind of difference have you noticed between the 16” rear wheel and the 19”?
I would assume the the 16” would be better for acceleration and the 19” would be better for rolling over obstacles

Hello Bruno, i have big problem with same specifications 32s 200a Chinese bms (antbms, mybms app ). One connect with android and other conect with apple. Everything are incompatible. One go with free app, second with not free app. The third with the new app version. The best is that after one month, they send a new version of the same bms. Impossible to communicate with that company, for them it s the fiesta, jackpot, everything is normal. Do you resolve that? Is it possible to have 4 or 5 bms on autobalance and maybe all on the same app? Thanks for help, to much days i lose with them.

Also, compared to a modded Surron, for the same price, you’d have a better fork and as much power, plus a battery that can be hot swapped. But I love the tuning abilities: pegs and shock positioning is awesome!
How would you get a better fork? You mean front shocks. Manitou Dorado is perfect for this bike.. what ohkins and fox 40 may be more expensive but can’t supply anywhere at preset .. so not sure on this ... SurRon is a great bike a moped but drill is a proper MX bike. We have ridden both extensively and love both. We can understand drill pricing it’s completely fair.
@@salesebmx4696 I’d happily pay 10k for a stock Surron with all the equipments I ended up putting on it.
I’m not denigrating the price, just saying that yeah, if you upgrade the SR, for the same price you end up with some components that are better. But you’re right, the market is complicated to get supplies right now.
Also, not sure I’d define it as a proper MX bike. No doubt it has a higher ground clearance, but it’s closer to the SR than to a full size dirt bike (the Alta or the Storm are MX bikes).
In any case, whatever the category, as long as they find their clientele and that these riders have fun on it 👍

ELMOFO converter motorcycles are very different, Drill One 54kg and full size Yamaha 109kg much bigger and heavier but also more power to compensate the extra weight. I don’t think we could compare them, ideally would have two, bigger bike for faster trails and smaller lighter bike for fun MTB trails
This looks like a great bike, definitely a better size for me too.
Yeah, loved the size too... I reckon it suits 170cm up to 190cm riders very well without adapting anything =]

For an off-road beast, i found it’s a shame the motor is so exposed... that’s just overlooked.
I think this bike was designed to be so powerful that most of the time the front wheel will be up in the air so you no longer need to worry about bashguard protecting motor hahahaa

What protects the electric motor and controller from rocks underneath?
nothing yet hope aftermarket or company makes one soon, I want one to make street legal with 16" street tires will be perfect for going to work

As its a hollow shift motor and its got reduction gearing is it possible on an engineering standpoint to instead have a slump 2 gear gear setup. Alowing for more top end without sacrificing low end
As it would be as simple as a wwitch and solenoid of a bump button on the shaft where you jest let off throttle and slump into 2nd gear and baxk to relive mechanical stresses between shift

Range is 50-100ks. As usual depends how you ride it. There is a formula to work it out based on your weight terrain etc 2.25kwh battery. We rode for 2 hours hard today and had 40% battery left. Hope this helps EBMX is Australia distributor and happy to answer any questions.

Will work of course. All you need to do is riding 20kph constant to have such low wh/km.
Nice bike and no wonder that a "sales ebmx" account talk the usually crap about range but if I would be a customer at your store I would pin you down to show me at least 80km with fun and you will see your funny journey ends on 40-50km only.
@@IncredibleCisco we rode hard for 2 hours on tight twisty tracks ave 20ph mostly on middle map - so yes 40% left at end. range on these is based like any electric battery on riders weight, terrain how hard you ride - ave speed. you can still ride hard on single track and ave only 20kph. this is what we found yesterday.
So am I right in saying that this bike peaks at approx 315 amps at 48volts

I don’t think so... as far as all the conversation with the manufacturer goes, this whole bike was designed to be lightweight and pack massive peak power... road use the bike needs to be good at continuous power, completely different game.

Only 30-40miles on a battery charge that is horrible...what makes an ev exceptional is how far the battery can take you, so for the price of 10k and only go 30-40miles it is not worth the price!

BUT... this is an off-road machine, lightweight with explosive power... this is not a commuter, this is not a bike to ride to work or visit family on the weekend or get on the highway... you take it to the bush and have an extreme ride... I bet after 30-40 miles you’ll be tired... it’s like riding a powerful JetSki... you don’t buy a JetSki to go to work or travel between places, you just use it for FUN.
Price... personally I don’t have disposable income to spend $10k but a lot of people out there don’t even care about price, they just want the most powerful and fun machine money can buy...one day I’ll be like that hahahaa
@@BrunoPOWEEER I live in nyc and my friends ride surrons everyday it’s the best daily transportation and police don’t bother the owners. So if people spend 10k they would like to use the vehicle daily. That’s why the surron is popular its used daily and is half the price, realistically in the city 30 something miles an hour is achievable and safe. I understand what your saying about being the most powerful ev on the market though, so I guess the surron is for the city and the most powerful ev is for the mountains wherever that is.

I ride Alta 37kW in other job and we converted a Yamaha running pretty close to Alta at 25kW and I’m saying... trust me... the Drill ones are a real beast... first time I twisted throttle I left a big burnout and was like “WTF? Did u just do a burnout just like that?!?!?” Too much POWEEEEEER hahaha
I just test ride one. I believe it was a 2021 model. Wasn’t that fast on takeoff. Made me not buy it

77kph on 21 inch front actually. 16 inch less accordingly. Not road bikes where are you riding then at higher top end speed that that? 😕
