Doing this exercise is a wonderful way to relieve tension and to boost your energy. Triple Warmer can tie up our whole-system energy in a protective fight/flight/freeze response. Doing Cover the Eyes regularly can repattern this energy habit to allow you to experience space, expansion and vitality.

Doing this every time I felt restless leg symptoms eventually stopped it altogether. I'd sometimes have to get out of bed a few times in a row before I could sleep. But it would get less and less each time. Soon I only needed it do it a few times a week. Then finally not at all. It took a couple months. But I haven't had rls in years ever since.

Do you need to sedate or activate triple warmer when there is a lot of stress ?
And is that tracing backwards of forward?

Hi, Jessica ~ for most of us, soothing Triple Warmer is one of the nicest things we can offer our entire system, so yes, sedating it. My best to you :)

You do this one time or more often, like 3 times in a row, when you want your TW to calm?

    • @PruneHarris

Wonderful question, Jessica ~ you are welcome to engage with this practice three times in a row if you feel called. That's a wonderful number! Your own system will provide feedback for you... how does it feel to do once? Does it feel better to engage two or three times? More? You can take your time with these - no rush. Find your own pace, and your Triple Warmer will respond internally for you. Working with this energy can be a powerful way to bring your fight/flight/freeze response into harmony. Thank you for joining us here! With gratitude ~ Jennifer

Good to have this feedback to begin with, Jessica, so that's a great start. This work can still be deeply effective even if you are not receiving subtle feedback. How about you move through this three times a day for two to three weeks... create a plan for yourself and a way to track how you feel.
