1992 Musicman Stingray Bass -- Quick Demo

This is a quick demo of my 1992 Musician Stingray Bass, channeling my inner Louis Johnson. 1992 Musicman Stingray through an old SWR Super Redhead -- it's the teal model in the opening photo. Apologies for the grainy video!
Introduced in 1976, the Musicman StingRay 4 string bass is one of the most iconic bass guitars in history and it was Leo Fender's first instrument after selling Fender to CBS Corporation in 1965. Thanks to Ernie Ball (EBMM), the Stingray is still alive and well today!

I have the same bass from the same year. I've had other stingray bass owners borrow it for recordings, the trees used must have been special that year or something. It's my favourite bass by far.

Thanks for the comment Olly. I agree the early 1990s were great years for MM basses. I got that one used around 1994 probably. I remember paying $300 :)

Lol. Actually I don't know what it was shot on. Its pretty old and my daughter shot it -- probably an old iPod or hand me down first gen iphone.
