Coming from a double degreed engineer who is very picky about his content, I find the creativity and effort put into these videos and the canon overall is unbelievable. My interpretation is that it is an art film on colonisation of the artists homeland (the house), and stripping it of it's resources (the old woman) by foreign powers (the general and the aristocrat). The civilians of the foreign power become the new people of the land (young woman, young man, and boy). Maybe the film was distributed to share the trauma.
The best explanation so far. Owing to the presented fact that German Film studio back in the Imperial era was involved with this SCP. Jacob very likely uses the resources from a German film studio due to Burundi was formerly German Occupied lands (Deutsch Ostafrika) and was taught by German Academia. His exposure to Dadaism also corroborated this due to Dadaism initially started at Switzerland, where French and German also influences and influenced them

I've noticed a lot of UA-cam videos these days actually have sectional breaks already in the video. Is this an automatic thing or is it something the uploaders have to take the time to add on to their content?
@@FriezaSucks Uploaders add them by putting time stamps with chapter headers into the description. There _is_ an automatic mode, but you have to put up a header card with the chapter title for each section.
I’m actually trying to understand what this SCP is doing I can understand the extra dimensional plane they can go into after watching the film but it looks each one had different experiences. But what is this silent doing once you enter the dimension? I’m gonna watch that again to try and grasp the idea lol.
I think it is somehow abducting the watchers. Notice how one of them ended going to a war (General), one of them was a man of some prestige (Aristocrat), and then there was the dude who later showed the movie to the woman (Young Man and Woman). Also, by some if the descriptions, it seems they take the place of the Guest skeleton when they interact with the entities.

I can’t believe not a single commenter here is as horrified and scared out of their mind as I am 😭 I wish I hadn’t watched this one. I had a dream about an scp type creature. If anyone wants to make it official feel free. They're called Strangers (which is why I looked up "scp strangers" and found this) They're invisible to the eye except out of your peripheral vision and they hate to be seen because they can feel when someone sees them and they don't like it. If they are seen then what they will do is apparently stop time and draw the person(s) who saw them into their realm where they begin to invasively study their victim to discover why it is they saw the strangers and when done they return their victim to where they got them without any physical evidence of trauma and no conscious memory of the experience but a great feeling of fear and terror as though the victim knows what happened to them like in a repressed memory. Victims of attack will also have a stronger sense of the Strangers presence, still not able to see them but now the victim will be able to know when Strangers are close by with a growing sense of terror and despair as they draw nearer. Physical descriptions of Strangers has been everything from human to large, reptilian beasts. Frequent victims of Stranger attacks will eventually completely go missing as if taken and never returned. It's speculated that these taken victims have themselves become Strangers. This came to me as part of a nightmare where I was stalked and hunted by these things, often being reduced to tears as one came up to stand right beside me, as though daring me to open my eyes and see it, they can only take people who actually see them.
So, I'm assuming 7 deadly sins, right off the bat. General - Wrath Aristocrat - Greed Guest - Gluttony Young Man - Sloth (because he did basically nothing) Boy - Envy (because he helped) Old Woman - Lust (she used her body in a bad way for the feast) Young Woman - Pride (Idk, last one remaining, showed up fashionably late? "Pride go-eth before the fall?") This is my initial assessment, still thinking of how the rest applies. I feel like it's a reversal of purgatory (they mentioned purgatory in the text) because instead of paying off the debt of their sin (which is normal purgatory) they are indulging in it. I don't know the overarching theme though, like, why does it matter

I like to think short SCPs are food for getting the creative minds pumping and that longer ones can give them form. Like SCP 682 and 6820. Not one is more definitive or complete than the other.

I know nothing of Gav the Clumsy Containment Specialist, but my headcanon is him being part of the SCP foundation. I like to imagine that he is constantly doing things that would typically lead to a containment breach but accidentally creates progress/ finds out something new of SCPs. Usually leads to better containment procedures, ways to neutralize them, or render them non-anomalous without destroying them. This leads the foundation to wonder if they are an SCP themselves, but through research, he's basically a space cadet. Not entirely realizing or recalling how he does these things in general.
Nothing like a good SCP reading from Volgun, and one based off of a very noteworthy movie. Well done, and I love how cinematic this SCP felt. It's like a horrifying experience instead of a being that caused destruction or mild inconveniences.

I like this... but it really doesn't feel like it goes anywhere. Unless I just failed to pick up on any hints as to its purpose or origin. While sure, its spooky... It kind of feels like a nothingburger. No backstory on the author, no hints as to what happened to the characters, No hints as to why the movie was sent to prominent figures or why they can go to the movies plane of existence. No idea what the "Guest" is. Give me something to chew on man!

I'm guessing you don't read the comments on older videos when you get so many replies, but I just wanted to mention that "Von Dietrich" pronounced dee-trich rather than dye-trich as you happened to pronounce here (I took several years of German language courses). Not a big deal, but I thought you might like to know in case you end up running into that name in the course of future narrations. These are great videos btw! Me pointing that out is not meant as a complaint at all. I've really been enjoying listening to these well-produced readings of SCP articles, and there have been a lot I've heard that I would not have ended up reading otherwise. I think it might have something to do with the impossibility to understand and define what’s going on, and therefor being unable to tell if I myself as the main character am going to be in danger or not. What if they suddenly were to all turn simultaneously and look at me, and walk closer? Ugh 😩

I had a dream about an scp type creature. If anyone wants to make it official feel free.
They're called Strangers (which is why I looked up "scp strangers" and found this)
They're invisible to the eye except out of your peripheral vision and they hate to be seen because they can feel when someone sees them and they don't like it.
If they are seen then what they will do is apparently stop time and draw the person(s) who saw them into their realm where they begin to invasively study their victim to discover why it is they saw the strangers and when done they return their victim to where they got them without any physical evidence of trauma and no conscious memory of the experience but a great feeling of fear and terror as though the victim knows what happened to them like in a repressed memory.
Victims of attack will also have a stronger sense of the Strangers presence, still not able to see them but now the victim will be able to know when Strangers are close by with a growing sense of terror and despair as they draw nearer.
Physical descriptions of Strangers has been everything from human to large, reptilian beasts. Frequent victims of Stranger attacks will eventually completely go missing as if taken and never returned.
It's speculated that these taken victims have themselves become Strangers.
This came to me as part of a nightmare where I was stalked and hunted by these things, often being reduced to tears as one came up to stand right beside me, as though daring me to open my eyes and see it, they can only take people who actually see them.

Very detailed article. Wish there was some payoff to it, though, this and many other articles just sort of end and leave me wanting more in a bad way.

Young Man - Sloth (because he did basically nothing)
Boy - Envy (because he helped)
Old Woman - Lust (she used her body in a bad way for the feast)
Young Woman - Pride (Idk, last one remaining, showed up fashionably late? "Pride go-eth before the fall?")
This is my initial assessment, still thinking of how the rest applies. I feel like it's a reversal of purgatory (they mentioned purgatory in the text) because instead of paying off the debt of their sin (which is normal purgatory) they are indulging in it. I don't know the overarching theme though, like, why does it matter

I enjoy the longer SCPs
I like to think short SCPs are food for getting the creative minds pumping and that longer ones can give them form. Like SCP 682 and 6820.
Not one is more definitive or complete than the other.
@@cherryboywriter6299 That's not the greatest comparison because the 682 article is definitely not complete. It's fairly bad and it has been promised multiple times that it would be rewritten better (6820 was not that).
I know nothing of Gav the Clumsy Containment Specialist, but my headcanon is him being part of the SCP foundation.
I like to imagine that he is constantly doing things that would typically lead to a containment breach but accidentally creates progress/ finds out something new of SCPs. Usually leads to better containment procedures, ways to neutralize them, or render them non-anomalous without destroying them.
This leads the foundation to wonder if they are an SCP themselves, but through research, he's basically a space cadet. Not entirely realizing or recalling how he does these things in general.
Love these creepy ones! Sometimes not having a resolution or all the info is what makes these work so well!

Nothing like a good SCP reading from Volgun, and one based off of a very noteworthy movie. Well done, and I love how cinematic this SCP felt. It's like a horrifying experience instead of a being that caused destruction or mild inconveniences.

I like this... but it really doesn't feel like it goes anywhere. Unless I just failed to pick up on any hints as to its purpose or origin. While sure, its spooky... It kind of feels like a nothingburger. No backstory on the author, no hints as to what happened to the characters, No hints as to why the movie was sent to prominent figures or why they can go to the movies plane of existence. No idea what the "Guest" is. Give me something to chew on man!

Not a big deal, but I thought you might like to know in case you end up running into that name in the course of future narrations.
