    I am a volunteer firefighter for my town, and I made burgers for the guys I was on shift with last night. I was inspired by your use of compound butter in the burger episode and made Hawaiian Teriyaki Burgers, but with a compound butter in the patty. I also sauteed the pineapple on the flat top in the homemade teriyaki sauce, had your crispy onions, and the Japanese Kewpie mayo. That burger, with hand-cut twice-fried french fries, one of the guys said, and I quote, "That was the best burger I have ever had. If I was on death row I may ask for this as my last meal."

    Hey guys. I am a combat veteran who was unfortunately involuntarily separated from the Army. I have also recently gone through a rough divorce and the separation from my young daughter. Needless to say the past few years has been a nightmare. I woke up from that nightmare when I found your channel. You have given me so much inspiration to cook and to keep learning new techniques.       Yes Max is a dummy. It's a rhetorical question along the lines of "what's not to love about puff pastry?".

      What isn't great in puff pastry taken as a statement implies that "What" is an actual thing and thus not great in puff pastry. Again if taken as a statement. We all (most) know it was a rhetorical question.

    I've only had Beef Wellington once about 40 years ago. Believe it or not it was served onboard a US Navy ship, the USS Moosbruger DD980, while underway in the Mediterranean Sea. It was prepared/cooked by one of the Philippino cooks while I was serving my hitch in the mess hall (every enlisted man serves 90 days in the mess hall as a fresh seaman). Of course it was different than the Beef Wellington Meatballs but the memories of that dish came flooding back right from the start of the vlog. Pretty cool memory all these years later!

    Sam, my wife and I LOVE your channel! A popular staple here in the south is pimento cheese. I know how much you love making grilled cheese and burgers, so you should make a grilled pimento cheese sandwich and/or a burger with pimento cheese.

      It might just be the frequency with which Sam brings out his "British accent", but as a British person it is definitely one of the more painful British person impersonations to listen to .

    Hey sam its jimmy, I will defend you on the "what isn't great about puff pastry" dilemma. He meant to say it sarcastically but it didn't sound like that. It was like a double negative but it didn't sound like it, but i know sam would not say that puff pastry is bad.       The Korean BBQ style Beef Bulgogi was pretty damn good and worth a try. Super simple recipe. Works great for pre-prep'd lunches reheated too.

    I have always stayed away from beef wellington because I am not a fan of mustard or mushrooms. Now Sam has given me a reason to dip my toe in this amazing looking pool. Love your stuff and cant wait to try this and many other recipes you have done! Thank you for expanding my cooking knowledge!

    Now I'm back in the US again just landed in Dallas Texas and watching you again.
    I wish you can make Kubbe it's a Kordish rice ball and inside some meat in a soup, there are two kind of soup red tomato soup with garlic and cilantro and ukini and the second one is sour soup with lots of lemons and garlic, zukini and spinach.

    Hey Sam, I've been stuck in quarantine for the past month with my girlfriend and ur videos are the only reason I've not been decapitated by her.     My husband and I watch your show daily; probably 4 or 5 episodes a day. We love your recipes, and have tried many, but we especially love the fact that you and your family (TV family) are normal everyday folk. It is great when we can watch a cooking show to learn something new but also laugh with you in the process. Keep up the good work. We love your show!!!!!

    I’ve been picking different videos to watch the night before I have to cook at the Fire Station, the guys loved the One pan egg sandwich for breakfast the other day. Thanks for the awesome and easy meal ideas. Makes meal time so much easier.
