Biggest thing I can say. The game was built from the ground up as a esport centered fps game, the visual clutter is a big part due to the graphical settings because as cluttered as the scenes can get, they look stunning for marketing. The game includes many options to disable these effects and while it makes the game less "pretty" of course it's MUCH easier to see. Also added colour vibrancey from software helps a ton, similar to how some use in valorant. Tl;Dr: turn the settings down, the game becomes much cleaner and easier to see players
It feels like the kind of game you convince your friends to play for a day, have a ton of fun and never touch it agin, tho the phyics and animations make me wish the game finds a way to keep me hooked for longer, seems to have potential
I think the visual clutter will probably be refined at launch. It looks very nice in gameplay trailers/content in the same way loud pop music is enticing, but impacts gameplay. They toned down the muzzle effects for MW2 after launch because it made targets in gunfights harder track. Hope same goes here
With all the coins and some other elements, the trailer scenes (at least the ones seen on this video) just made me think of an ad for a casino or something like that :D
I tend to like a mid-long time to kill - I feel that for me it's more frustrating to get deleted with 0 chance to do anything than it is for you to get first hit and the enemy wiping you nonetheless because of their skill with movement shooting etc on noob-tubes - having a ton of explosives makes sense in a game which features destructible environments. ofc idk how good they are against players, but the high movement and high TTK seem to me to mean that hitting a noob-tube will *hurt* but not *kill*, allowing the victim to get shoot you as you switch back to a gun and get into cover a few frames before you can shoot. Again, not sure, but here's hoping I do hope they simplify the visuals somewhat, and maybe they'll implement gamemodes with faster TTK etc etc

to summarize this game, its for the people who are in-between wanting a casual and competitive game. the core elements are casual and for fun, but the games movement, abilities, and modes cater to a more competitive audience. Things like visual clutter dont bother me as much if the spectacle of it is big, and the longer ttk is what I like. For others this might not be it, but if theres one thing I can say, its that I hope this game turns out good, we need more serious competition in the fps market.
Been playtesting this game since alpha and it's an absolute blast. That's coming from someone who mainly plays games like Tarkov and Squad haha. So much chaos and destruction. The TTK is between CoD and Halo. Headshots definitely matter. The movement depends on which build you pick. I would compare it more closely to Team Fortress than Apex. Healing happens via a gadget exclusive to the medium class or by avoiding damage for about ten seconds.
I'm incredibly hyped for this game. High octane, chaotic, competetive shooter with arcade-y mechanics, different legends with a bunch of different abilities, great looking gunplay, interesting movement, long TTK. It literally has everything that I crave in a game. It's interesting that a lot of people like short TTK to me, because long TTK is literally the #1 factor in me enjoying an FPS game, so I'm super glad this game has implemented that!

His concerns were my interests when I first saw it pop up on my steam curator list. Absolute Michael bay server-side level destruction with no limits to explosions, falling debris, and visual noise? Fuck yes finally the dream of a non-scam Crackdown 3 is here. It’s not battle royale either so an even bigger plus. The ttk is relatively high so no sweaty fucks are gonna be camping and instantly kill u , when you get shot you can react relatively fast and fight back while also enjoying the spectacle of the building you’re in falling apart to pieces. A gorgeous game engine with a sleek visual style akin to Mirror’s Edge, the player models having cool street style clothes and weapons and abilities that AREN’T locked behind shitty generic battlepass “heroes” too? If this truly isn’t p2w, and the game feels buttery smooth to play with its movement and shooting, this might be GoTY for me.
Definitely looks really interesting and worth at least trying, regardless of how you feel about high TTKs and such, since it looks pretty unique (at least from this video which is my first time hearing of it)
I question if it'll deliver as promised, and I'm unsure if it'll be as balanced or extensive as might be nice, but I'm happy to see some interesting use of destruction and physics since that hasn't been a thing in the forefront for a while.
See some of my favorite gaming moments involved being in a giant Battlefield lobby and there's just so much going on that you can hardly even focus on the gunplay.
Im a fan of longer Time-To-Kill in games, because longer TTK means more time IN-GAME and less time in menus looking at the spawn timer to go down. Longer TTK = More Gameplay

I got to play the closed beta for the last 5 days of it. All I can say is 1. Performance is horrendous, i'm running a 5800x + 3080 and barely hitting 60fps. even on DX11 with everything on low. 2. The game has amazing concept, it's like KOTH, CP, Capture the flag and TDM all combined in one. I don't get bored playing the game and it's a very thought out design. 3. Too much stuff is still happening all at once, UI elements blocking the objective and shooting, character movement is wonky, nades going off everywhere, it's just hard to play the game sometimes. 4. The cosmetics in this game is awesome, they got that cyberpunk, ready player one style outfits down to a tee, and you can customize by picking pieces for your outfit. I really enjoy the art direction of this game. Overall, I'll give it 8.5/10, would play again. just need to dial everything back. even the main menu colors started to hurt my eyes after a while
I've been playing it recently, it's actually not bad! Still playtesting so there's a lot of crashes but most of the crashes for me has been at the main menu and in the tutorial world. Personally, I think they could definitely expand it with more game modes and it would be a full on blast!
i think a game like this is right up my alley. unrestricted mobility, physics based gameplay, and a huge emphasis on style and spectacle baby. it looks like operation locker and mirrors edge had a baby coming out the womb drinking white monster.
Thought you were gonna talk about the Counter Strike Source 2 thing going on now lmao. I haven't heard about this title yet but now I am definetly gonna give it a try when it comes out. Great video as always
I am reminded of a convo I had with a much younger cousin of mine. We were talking about Valorant and CS, and he said he tried CS but missed all the colourful effects and how much happened especially sound-wise, that CS was too quiet of a game. I thought he meant because of the skills, but after seeing him playing in a single round it was clear, all the characters have catchphrases, the talk when reloading, pushing, planting, using skills, when you kill there is a happy chime, everything is noisy. I guess I am officially a boomer, I would like a lot of movement and long ttk - but the scenes you showed were absolutely unintelligible to me. Everything shines and explodes, I couldn't even see what the player was shooting at.
I had a lot of fun playing. I'll definitely keep playing and hopefully monetization isn't overly aggressive on launch. The studio still have to make money though.
Im personally quite excited to play this. I do agree with the noobtubes (however you spell it) but still think itll be fun (especially being that seems to be what the devs are trying to push hard on this rather 4k gigachad graphics) And for microtransactions, i personally am not gonna let that result in wether I play a game or not. And again this is just personal opinion i think all the points you made are relatively good
I have a question about your game is it going to be a competitive scene or some type of rank system just add some level of grinding ability to it and maybe even a top 100 at the end for the super sweaty players that really want to be number one
Damn I actually got to play this during the alpha, it was fun but I think it'll take a lot of work and development before it's a real contender in the multiplayer fps scene
lets see how well the destructible environment will pan out. i heard in a podcast how much went into apex netcode to accomodate players with bad networks. seems quite a challenge

Played it during the last playtest, wasn't a huge fan, but I'll see if it gets better next update. Has some cool ideas 🎉
i just randomly saw this at my home page 34 seconds after release, didnt realise i dont have notifications on
Building: *Explodes*
My computer : *Explodes aggresively*
Im impressed that a game like this even exists.
As with any F2P game, there's no harm in giving it a shot. I personally think the gameplay looks really fun. I just hope that eventually they add new game modes. Idk if just the Cashout game mode will keep me super invested for a long time.
I've never seen anything about it before and I love it!
Also I already see my GPU having a stroke while I'm just watching this video with so much of different stuff flying around..
oh boy, you hit the points of all my concerns
I hadn't heard about this, but now I'm hyped
That city/building looks like the first and second Mirror's Edge games got combined, vibrant colors of the OG indoors, general layout of Catalyst.
I've wanted a game set specifically in only a sky scraper so feels like a dream come true for my very specific wants
I've been playing the closed beta and it's really fun! I hope it continues to be played and some of the little issues get fixed up.
Definitely looks really interesting and worth at least trying, regardless of how you feel about high TTKs and such, since it looks pretty unique (at least from this video which is my first time hearing of it)
I question if it'll deliver as promised, and I'm unsure if it'll be as balanced or extensive as might be nice, but I'm happy to see some interesting use of destruction and physics since that hasn't been a thing in the forefront for a while.
looks cool!!! *gets hyped
nexon logo *approaches with caution
First time I’ve heard about it, it looks well made! I always like trying games at least one or a few times
I wouldn't say I'm excited for it but I'm curious and hope it does well
See some of my favorite gaming moments involved being in a giant Battlefield lobby and there's just so much going on that you can hardly even focus on the gunplay.
Im a fan of longer Time-To-Kill in games, because longer TTK means more time IN-GAME and less time in menus looking at the spawn timer to go down.
Longer TTK = More Gameplay
This looks pretty cool
i love the destruction and the reloads
This was a really well thought out analysis of the game and was unbiased. I commend you for how well you present information like this
Does he mention it's only a beta and most of the issues he mentions are confirmed to be fixed?
@@SpeedKing.. i don't think he needs to mention it when the entire bottom of the screen says PRE-BETA FOOTAGE.
@@Lrtzeh that only happens in the trailers, he still needs to make a point. I like this guy but his points were really bad this time, like the noob tube thing isn't even a point if it's a beta etc. Honestly felt that this time it was comic from a place of jealousy
@@SpeedKing.. okay
i don't even normally play fps games but this sounds like a dream, long gunfights, moving surroundings, fast movements? thank you for letting me know
I played it when they had an open playtest for a weekend and it was actually quite fun and a fresh breeze from all those battle royale shooters
I got to play the closed beta for the last 5 days of it. All I can say is
Overall, I'll give it 8.5/10, would play again. just need to dial everything back. even the main menu colors started to hurt my eyes after a while
man I love your videos, they are short enough to watch them even if I dont care for the topic
this is my first time seeing this game, and im pretty excited now. it definitely seems like my type of shooter
you can req to play on steam rn, it takes about a day to accept but it works (and you get beta rewards)
Bro if it’s plays exactly like game footage not gonna lie it’s fire with all that effects and explosion physics
The devs are mainly ex-Dice, u can see the mirror’s edge aesthetic in the city map and the battlefield DNA in its destruction 😈
Everything shines and explodes, I couldn't even see what the player was shooting at.
valorants voicelines are complete trash though, even ow is better
Really... you forgot about TF2? They also have a lot of personality. In fact I will say the lore/game-with-character comes from TF2.
@@Jestersage That's a huge claim with no source whatsoever
C4 and destruction physics in one sentence just sounds fun already
So essentially… give it a spin and see how you feel… this goes for anything
2:09 Core memory unlocked
looks mad fun
i will be playing it for sure
I’m getting ‘Brink’ vibes here. Have a feeling that it will join the over-promise pile with ‘CuberPunk2077’, ‘No Mans Sky’ and ‘Killzone 3’.
What's making me conflicted is the Free-to-Play part. That and it sounds too good to be true
The visual clutter seems like the only issue, kind of excited
I tried it during the beta and I liked it. Cool concept and the destruction played well into the gameplay
youve got explosions articles flashes my pc on fire...
It’s so good youtube said it’s MW 2019
I love me some garbaj in the morning
I get the feeling that as soon as players find a meta with the destruction, the game will devolve quickly, but I could be very wrong.
first ive heard about it. im praying its great
I totaly agree with you by the preferences!
but I'm still hyped anyway, I can quite adapt to whatever
was definitely worth being hyped for its kind of amazing.
I've never heard of this game but I think I'm gonna have to check it out
The AK in the thumbnail makes it look like CSGO
I really hope it's good
Game looks awesome, excited to play
I had a lot of fun playing. I'll definitely keep playing and hopefully monetization isn't overly aggressive on launch. The studio still have to make money though.
Battlebit for fast ttk enjoyers, and The Finals for chaos enjoyers.
im so hyped, real gaming is back. the spy backstab is the only feature i needed im hooked
I've played it, and it was pretty fun
I'll be honest, this is the first I've ever heard of it
Im personally quite excited to play this. I do agree with the noobtubes (however you spell it) but still think itll be fun (especially being that seems to be what the devs are trying to push hard on this rather 4k gigachad graphics) And for microtransactions, i personally am not gonna let that result in wether I play a game or not. And again this is just personal opinion i think all the points you made are relatively good
I have a question about your game is it going to be a competitive scene or some type of rank system just add some level of grinding ability to it and maybe even a top 100 at the end for the super sweaty players that really want to be number one
i played this game for the past decade, so fun!!
Damn I actually got to play this during the alpha, it was fun but I think it'll take a lot of work and development before it's a real contender in the multiplayer fps scene
I wonder if the high ttk is an attempt to balance against the large amount of explosives that come with the whole environmental destruction thing?
excellent points, i agree with everything
their physics is their main franchise!
if there is some sort of sandbox mode, id love to just mess around with the terrain.
lets see how well the destructible environment will pan out. i heard in a podcast how much went into apex netcode to accomodate players with bad networks. seems quite a challenge
