Making a Top from the Joni Dress | Sewing for a larger body

This week's project was a quick one, but one I've been wanting to make for the longest time. I've had this beautiful checkered cherries jersey fabric in my stash for at least a couple of years, and I've been wanting to sew a top based on the Joni Dress pattern by Tilly and the Buttons. It is an amazingly easy and quick pattern - highly recommend! My only regret is that I didn't buy enough fabric back then to make a full Joni Dress, but I am very happy with this modified Joni Top too.
