Say what you like ...with the difficulties, over done beyond belief with the actors off screen, not to mention waste of funds which MGM never recovered from ... it's a bloody miracle what they managed to finally piece together ... like it or not couldn't and wouldn't be accomplished today !!
The boys are hers with Michael Wilding, Liza her child with Michael Todd, and Maria adopted with Richard Burton. You can see the resemblance between her and her sons, and you can see Liza's resemblance to her father.
I watch it once a year for the cast, the scenery/sets, the costumes and Taylor's wardrobe changes. And Leon Shamroy's cinematography.
Great film and magical true Love story!
I find this film very underrated. Such a film could never be made like this again.
Never again. It is underrated. A tad too long, though.
It's so unfortunate that so much of what was filmed is lost. Rodney McDowell spent years trying to locate the footage.
Truely Liz was always in a producer 's mind to be Queen Cleo...without her , there wouldn't have been this movie..and his vision was right !!
Walter Wanger knew exactly who he wanted. He got her.
She really loved her children.
Yes, indeed she did. Inspite of all of the craziness it's clear she was a good parent.
Great picture of all time!
Your page ist wonderful. Thanks.
Amazing photos of Elizabeth & Richard and production photos!
At 1.51 I think I see back of Eddie Fisher ?
The two people who dislike this are Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds
They're both dead. And Debbie did end up forgiving her.
@yvonneplant9434 Yes I'm aware of that. It was a joke about how ridiculous it is that anyone would downvote this video.

This was 20th Century Fox not MGM.
it sems that they bult two different sphinxes, the first one looks more like a dog, the second one is the fuller face that we see in the finished film
I wonder if they were her real children.
Yes. Two with Michael Wilding and one with Michael Todd.

Yes! Her sons were born in 1953 and 1955 respectively. Her daughter, Liza, was born in 1957. Maria was adopted and, I think, born in 1961.
