Ruin Crab as a payoff and Phyrexian Tower as a way to stop the combo could fit here
Phyrexian Tower can't stop the combo, not in this case, but if u played poq after ashaya you could mill out the opponent with ruin crab and sacrifice ashaya with Phyrexian Tower, or with any instant that sacrifice a land/creature for a payback, but the combo can only be stopped in the case where you have only one ashaya

cant stop the combo, but a sac outlet + meathook effect for example does allow for full control and infinite dps.
You don't need to stop the combo due to the fact that your not drawing cards so you can't mill yourself put and you're not pay life to do it so technically you can let it go until the timer runs out and smack in for big damage

Discontinuity is definitely a good answer, but Stifle could work just as well to stop the combo when you have an overwhelming amount.
Came for the MTGA content, stayed for the singing.
There's that spell "Discontinuity" that just straight-up ends the turn and removes everything from the stack etc
Without the mirrorbox you still can go infinite, you just legend rule every time (as long as you choose the new one). So if you add another trigger to the combo, etb or dies trigger, you can win hat way. ruin crab can also work, because witht the legend rule you can end it yourself by choosing the old one.
there is a way to stop any combo,, there is a card that reads END the TURN. ( Discontinuity ) 3 uuu or on your turn pay 2uu ..

Instead of green/blue with Spark Double, how about green/red with "Fling" at instant, once the creatures are big enough?
I built this as a Golgari build wth Blood Artist as a win con. Great thing is that if you have Poq in hand, you can just grab Ashaya and Blood Artist with Defense, then Poq entering the battlefield wins the game.

A fling effect can close the Game in that situation, also a turn ending spell but that's less classy.

At 16:18 you could survive the board state next turn if you used spark double on your goose to block two of the flying creatures

you should probably swap the Spark Double for the Defabricate. It does exactly that. Counters target triggered ability.

If the combo was in paper it would. It doesn't result in a draw in arena because there is a token limit and a time limit
I think the game would have maxed you out at 250 permanents then you could attack the next turn.
The copies aren't tokens so the 250 token cap never happens. It just keeps going until the game ends in a draw.

Try this again but do this next time: once you have a lot of lands and one or more big mythweavers with a mirror box in play, cast the last March of the ents, draw a bunch of cards and put any number of ashayas and craterhoof behemoths, the poq in play first is key in order to actually be able to attack and not go infinite and draw

Be really careful with the loops. Remember back to when Nexus of fate and arena were new? People were getting banned for playing nexus of fate with no wincon.

@@LordKoKuyou The only real difference is that there has been code written to fix the game. Nexus of fate is one of the cards that made them do the most work on this terrible product (that I play for at least 15 wins EVERY FUCKING DAY I don't know if I hate myself or wotc more).
@@michaelsander2878 The combo in this video is something that results in a draw. Once it started the player has no way to stop it, unless he has another card to interact.
People may or not find it boring to play against, but it's something legitimate and legal. Fortunately, MTGA now supports this outcome too, like what happened in this video.
Looping Nexus of Fate infinitely without having a win com is an @ssh0le thing to do, and it's against the rules. The player can stop doing it at any point, but if he continues, is because he wants too.
If someone do that to you in paper, you can call the judge and the judge will make the guy stop doing that or lose the game.
That's the difference.

You can’t stop the combo even if you sacrifice all of your creatures, so your opponent will sit there with an empty library while the game inevitably draws
