Just to be pedantic, that is more like Flux. Wheel of Fortune, Windfall and such are better used in very low to the ground decks that dump their hand on the battlefield and then cast them to get a hopeful +7 card advantage.
For oppoents... I can see the appeal for Dennick, Pious Apprentice (or some other prevent graveyard interaction).
But for making it spicier... Rataridbik and Ojer (Tokens) plus Kroxa...
brass's tunnel grinder is definitely not better than wheel of fortune lol, it always gives you seven cards, even if there are no cards in your hand.
But you can discard 200 cards with Brass tunnel grinder and then draw 201 cards with brass tunnel grinder...
Brass Tunnel Grinder:
1. allows you to keep card(s) you want.
2. Doesn’t give your opponent cards.
None is strictly better than the other - just depends on the use case.
@aaronbredon2948 i mean it always depends. you usually cast wheel with very few cards/bad cards in hand to get 4/5 cards additional cards in hand, and if you have hand knowledge with rips/tutored cards in hand, a well-timed wheel is advantage for you and disadvantage for them. the selection off tunnel is nice, but wheel is generally a better card.

Query: When Chris plays Serra Emmissary, why does he never pick Protection from Sorcery so that he wouldn't need to worry about boardwipes?
Board wipes don't target the creature so "protection from sorceries" won't do anything because they're just wiping all creatures, not targeting creatures or a player.

No. Protection stops damage, enchanting/equipping, blocking, and targeting. Destroy is not damage
@@tripNine1A fun interaction that gets around the "no enchanting" part of protection is the most recent zur. Had so many disputes with people that I stopped playing him as a commander. I think the guys who do fun magic facts actually made a short about it. (One of them is a German guy).

1. ive cast meddling mage naming fragment reality twice this week and its been glorious
2. they need to ban the deck in bo1 because the games are not games. they either have a turn 1 hexproof saint traft or they lose cause they dont have the combo. that just isnt fun.

Does not work that way. Boardwipes don’t target so the protection from sorcery’s doesn’t do anything I’m pretty sure
