I stayed in JW chandigarh - room was 11k INR and it was 29k points per night. but i have also stayed in some properties where rates were good. JW Pune gave me room for 15k points and room rate was INR 20k. In both properties - i got free breakfast - you just need to ask politely. JW mumbai did not give me free food though. with amex - you are a gold elite member - so you do get an edge.

i think they expire in 2 years. (not sure) but the trick is to only transfer amex points as and when you need - transfer happens within 2 days(mine happened next day). and only transfer the required amount (apart from the 30% bonus big transfer)

dont think so. 30% was amex mail - not marriot mail. although i would recommend you to keep your ITC points as it is - and not transfer to Marriot - because if you book ITC hotel from marriot - you get bad rates. transfer to marriot only if you need it badly or staying in ITC is not an option

You can transfer 1 lakh points per year from bonvoy
And you can also book in your wife’s name :)

Marriot points have a validitiy of 2 years in my knowledge
They expire only when you stop earning or redeeming points. Basically if dere is no activity for a year.
