    While I love the idea, how are there not edges of sharp glass poking up? I could see if there was a resin-type base first. But the broken glass is right at the top!

    Definitely going to try this but just one question - why does the mixing bowl have to be so big? It looks very awkward to do the mixing in such a big bucket.

    It will make a beautiful piece of yard art. However, it will not be able to use as a stepping stone.

    Regretfully this is fast setting cement so it's not as effective or malleable during detailing. Nothing was done in the way of shaking to settle the cement so it'll have air bubbles that weaken it. It also won't look very nice. Vanish will make the top slick. Overall, this project looks like a first time try, and definitely not the way you'd want to advertise your skills - or lack thereof.

    Way to thin to be very practical as a stepping stone. Decorative use only. Pretty on top though. :)
