Guys, it's called a talkbox. That tube is connected to a device (effects box) connected to the guitar. The mouth movements and sounds can manipulate the guitar notes/sounds. It can make it sound like the guitar is talking.
The talkbox has been around for a long time now, this is a great song by Bon Jovi! Concerts used to be this huge and they were enjoyable, you could see everything!
Oh you guys you are my absolute FAVOURITE now. MJ and Bon Jovi are my top 2. I’ve seen them 12 times between 2010-2013. From New Jersey. Please React to Dry County or Blood on Blood. ❤
I'm 27. I became a fan that was introduced by their post 2000s music. Check out songs Have A Nice Day, All About Loving You, Make a Memory, Born Again Tomorrow, What Do You Got, This House Is Not For Sale, Every Day, and One Wild Night for more modern Jovi. I listed all ones that have music videos! 😊 I'll Be There For You is one of the best ones from the 80s. Always is beautiful but the video doesn't suit it at all. Some of my favorite ones that don't have music videos include Complicated, Luv Can, Bullet, Who Would You Die For, Any Other Day, This Is Love This Is Life, and We Don't Run to name a few. 😂
Bon Jovi is from Jersey I believe the on the guitar is Richie lead singer is Jon Bon Jovi and on the bass is Alec and on keyboard is David and on drums is tico
I am watching, seeing laughing and no Bon Jovi. ANYWAY.... Sorry guys.... you do not realize how the talkbox sound of old is TOTALLY found in Rap/Hip Hop today though we can use AUTOTUNE on HIGH... it to me mimics it in how it alters voices. For a more TRUE aspect of HOW 70s artist into 80s used in songs the TALK-BOX. REACT TO from 1975 TV Show - Peter Frampton, "Do You Feel Like We Do" LIVE on the on The Midnight Special late show. SHOWS HOW IT IS TOTALLY DONE or was back then and sound it makes to a voice. Best not to laugh so as if some ridiculous voice sounds were being done as it infers not having respect for previous eras that to many of us SADDENS us to have the Rock era that lasted 60yrs mid-50s thru 2015 ish IMO. That is when top 20 switch to all rap/hip hop and FM radio suddenly had oldies stations pop up. Noticed it in my car as first half rock/half rap songs were produced to push the change studios saw fit to force. Seems not changes continue... what fully comes next not sure? Country has made inroads as the anti-kind though old style Rock artist still can be found.... just not in top 20 yet again.
