MAX WEBSTER opened MANY RUSH concerts early years.
Kim Mitchell has a solid rock and roll voice. Total rock band Max Webster was.
Saw Kim Mitchell play about 14 years ago. They pretty much sound like the album.
Canadian Bands certainly from the 60s 70s 80s even sound like the album sounds.
Reason I heard was the record labels did not have endless funds to produce and record an album. So when you showed up to record, you are not getting endless takes and post production.
So when it is time to play live, what you hear is what you get. No some approximation of the studio version.
I still have a number of Max WEBSTER albums.
