    I love how you said our time in the gym is our time to be more present and mindful. As someone who works out without headphones and recently starting closing my eyes during isolation movements I completely understand what you mean.

    if you can't screw a light bulb into a socket and get a bicep pump under no load you probably shouldn't be curling 120 pounds yet (cause you don't know how to contract your bicep)

    You might not be able to curl 50 lb dumbbells but you can curl 100 lbs on the barbell. There’s a difference and that’s muscle synergy. Challenge the muscles together or separately but do both with intensity and focus.

    Let's not forget artificial hormones for muscle growth too
