Taiwan Coast Guard Drives Away Chinese Vessels Off Kinmen; China Has A Different Story

This video released by Taiwan’s coast guard shows its officers monitoring Chinese coast guard vessels in waters off one Kinmen islands.
It’s 10 kilometres off Fujian in mainland China.

According to Taiwan's coast guard administration, four Chinese coast guard vessels had entered restricted on two occasions this week before being driven away by Taiwan's vessels.
There have been over 800-odd such instances this year, says Taiwan
The Chinese state media put out another such video but had a very different story to tell
It said the Chinese coast guard had warned vessels of its Taiwanese counterpart to stay off the waters near Kinmen
It said Taiwanese vessels crossed over the patrol route of the China Coast Guard’s Fujian contingent.
Upon receiving a warning from the mainland coast guard authority, the Taiwan vessels turned back and left the area
China says law enforcement patrols conducted by the mainland coast guard authority in the waters around Kinmen are designed to protect the order of operations in the area.
Tensions between China and Taiwan have seen a steady rise since Lai Ching-te whom China calls a separatist took over Taiwan’s presidency last month.
Just days later, China staged two days of war drills in the strait.
China has also escalated things by threatening to execute "diehard" Taiwan independence separatists in extreme cases, a statement condemned by Lai, his government and the United States
But China is is no mood to budge, saying it will chase Taiwan separatists wherever they are and punish them
