I have some Cirque polishes - the first thing I do with each is swap out that horrible brush. It’s amazing how much more I like their polishes with a good brush. I find this collection to be a very strange collection of colors and finishes! That vanilla bean really looked problematic (as in, darn close to “gloppy”). I’m not into thermals myself (I have short nails so…). I like Cirque’s jellies, although not all the colors in the collection. Thanks for featuring Cirque though! I’m waiting to see what colors they release for this year’s Vice collection.
lol yeah i def would recommend swapping out their brushes! i’ve had some super wonky skinny brushes but these weren’t too bad (I also don’t have any extra wide ones to swap 🙈) but aw i’m sorry you’re not really feeling these! idk if i would personally call Vanilla Bean goopy, but I def see what you mean where it CAN be after it thickens up even more over time.. i’m curious what color jellies you’d wanna see from Cirque though, bc while i do love the ones in this set I also really wish they’d either bring back ones from previous sets or just introduce more new colors in general! & omg yes definitely looking forward to Vice this year 🤞
@@PolishedYogi I have seen some blues and greens I like of their jellies, but my collection size is about maxed and I am giving up dupes if I want new polishes. I have quite a few Vice polishes and some of the candy coat series. I actually like how Cirque has these series that they return to each year! I think the gourmand collection is just too muted for my mood right now….I am feeling brighter colors (even from some of the pastel collections). I honestly would love ILNP’s spring collection and have most of it on my wish list.
@@Rasikakt55 I get the ones from Glisten and Glow. For the Cirque bottles you need the brush and cap to make it work. I think they’re sold 25 at a time, but SO much cheaper than the $2 rip off.

I love Cirque jellies! I love jellies in general but I think Cirque does a very good jelly and I love these new colors! However, I really, really loathe their brush! Jellies are so much more easily applied with a wider brush! I don’t much get into thermal polishes although the color of this one was very pretty! Thank you for taking the time to swatch these and I love your comparisons, Stefanie! I know we are close to spring although that has yet to come close to hitting here. We are still getting nasty lake effect snows and LOTS of snow when it does storm! Hurry spring! We are still shivering here!!! ❄️❄️🌺🌸🌼🌹

My eyes are always so drawn to that golden saffron color but I don’t tend to like it on my skin tone…I still love it in that jelly form. I really like all the jellies and I’m kinda a sucker for fruit stuff so the stickers are tempting.
it really is such a fun and juicy shade, but totally understand the concern of not liking it against your skin tone. If you have some other jellies maybe you could try layering them too, to slightly alter the color/undertone? and omg yeah the stickers are super cute!! 🍓
I’m almost out of my lavender creme Essie I loved the hell out of it for the past two years and might just replace it with Ube Jelly-wasn’t expecting it to look so good. I still adore jelly polishes over cremes recently.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this entire collection! Such unique and different shades/formulas and I love the tri-thermal, Lost Berry. I so wish they would get a wider brush but this is a beautiful collection and love the extras too 🙂

I wanted the Matcha to be a be more dusty, not going to lie (also I really was hoping it would be a jelly!) - the comparisons at the end were very helpful for the tone of the green. The glass beads look so cool, but also look like they'd be hell to apply, haha
yeah even though I love Matcha, I would’ve also loved it if it was a little more dusty. and omg a green jelly like this is SO needed!! hoping we get one soon 🤞 and omg yeah I don’t even know where to start with applying those little beads lol, I guess using the tweezer but the thought of that strains my eyes 😵💫🤣

I loooooove the orange jelly! It's definitely needed in their collection like you mention, it goes so well in their line. And I can't wait to pair it with xoxo jelly in the summer. Weirdly their jelly formula is the only formula I dont mind with the skinny brush, I get a perfect application every time. But I still want them to switch to the wide for sure.

Omg Saffron Jelly is the cutest. It looks so juicy like delicious oranges or peaches. All the jellies in this collection are great, and I don't have any other pink Cirque jellies, so this might be the one. Thanks for the comparisons! Getting all three, for sure. Also, that thin brush is just paaaain. I can't believe they didn't swap the new collection's brushes out from the get-go. How ridiculous.

As long as it isn’t too hot where you live, it should be fine. I have a friend who lives in AZ and most of her thermals died in the summer 😩 but mine have survived thankfully.

I def prefer that to Sticky Icky haha but they definitely nailed that slime green feel with that one at least 😝 Vanilla Bean is super cute too, I almost wish it was scented lol! and yess omg marble/watercolor jelly nails are some of my fave!! Ok, question for all you jelly lovers. I love the aesthetic, but I can’t keep a jelly manicure. I dent or scratch or somehow botch my manicure because the jellies take longer than standard polish to dry. Is it just me? I don’t buy these because I don’t reach for them because of drying time. Would love input on this from the chat, and Stef - if u have advice.
this has definitely happened to me too when I first started using jellies! I think the best thing would be to do thinner coats and waiting a couple extra mins between coats. I also always recommend a QDTC but I think the waiting in between thinner coats will help more since the polish will actually dry down fully, where as the QDTC will harden the top layers but might not fully “cure” everything underneath if that makes sense. Idk if you have any quick dry drops but maybe even using some of that after each coat will help too!
I’ll have a comparison posted on my IG story soon (and probably here on my Shorts), but Lost Berry is much darker and burgundy leaning compared to the more fuchsia shade of La Vie En Rose (in their cold states). when warm, La Vie en Rose is much more of light petal pink, while Lost Berry is a touch darker. they both have the same holo sparkle though!
I Googled ube to see what the heck it is: purple yam in the Tagalog language (Philippines). Sweeter than purple and orange sweet potato. Cirque captured the color of the Google images I found, and I enjoyed that shade once you built it up in 3 coats. All of these should have had wide brushes for better application -- it seems like you struggled with them and they were difficult.
oh I should’ve totally included some reference pics!! but yes exactly, I thought they did a great job nailing (lol) the inspo! I’m glad you liked the shade too especially once its built up. & yes definitely agree, the wide brushes would’ve made application a lot easier instead of having to go back and forth between getting too much/not enough polish 😩

Kinda bummed about the sparse specks in the speckled polish… I like curated speckles but not this sparse. 😢 Really dislike how jellies pull away at the tips so I’ll give them a pass.
aw that’s totally valid! I was just saying in another video how I prefer Cirque’s speckled polishes bc theres just so many little specks and not sparse at all. I think the sparseness works for Vanilla Bean but it definitely would’ve been cute if it was similar to their other speckled shades! and yeah that’s definitely an annoying thing about jellies that happens to me too most of the time 😅 hopefully you’ll like whatever they release next!

Saffron jelly is so beautiful! I have red undertones so Oranges aren't my jam, but it looks so juicy!! I may just have to get it! 🍊

I also always recommend a QDTC but I think the waiting in between thinner coats will help more since the polish will actually dry down fully, where as the QDTC will harden the top layers but might not fully “cure” everything underneath if that makes sense. Idk if you have any quick dry drops but maybe even using some of that after each coat will help too!
How does Lost Berry compare to La Vie en Rose?
I’ll have a comparison posted on my IG story soon (and probably here on my Shorts), but Lost Berry is much darker and burgundy leaning compared to the more fuchsia shade of La Vie En Rose (in their cold states). when warm, La Vie en Rose is much more of light petal pink, while Lost Berry is a touch darker. they both have the same holo sparkle though!
I Googled ube to see what the heck it is: purple yam in the Tagalog language (Philippines). Sweeter than purple and orange sweet potato. Cirque captured the color of the Google images I found, and I enjoyed that shade once you built it up in 3 coats. All of these should have had wide brushes for better application -- it seems like you struggled with them and they were difficult.
oh I should’ve totally included some reference pics!! but yes exactly, I thought they did a great job nailing (lol) the inspo! I’m glad you liked the shade too especially once its built up. & yes definitely agree, the wide brushes would’ve made application a lot easier instead of having to go back and forth between getting too much/not enough polish 😩

Kinda bummed about the sparse specks in the speckled polish… I like curated speckles but not this sparse. 😢 Really dislike how jellies pull away at the tips so I’ll give them a pass.
aw that’s totally valid! I was just saying in another video how I prefer Cirque’s speckled polishes bc theres just so many little specks and not sparse at all. I think the sparseness works for Vanilla Bean but it definitely would’ve been cute if it was similar to their other speckled shades! and yeah that’s definitely an annoying thing about jellies that happens to me too most of the time 😅 hopefully you’ll like whatever they release next!
