My pleasure, Lourdina. Thanks for your appreciation and the Christmas greetings. God bless you and your family too and may you all have a blessed Christmas.
Thank you for the easy way to make milk cream. Just wanted to know adding hot water to cashew for 10 min. will lessen the taste . What do you do with the water ?
My pleasure, Smitha. And don't worry, the hot water will not extract any of the flavour from the cashew nuts. It will only soften them and remove any fragments of skin and any dirt sticking to them. Just discard the water.
Hi Veena, A very easy recipe for Christmas. I have never made this sweet before. I will be following your recipe, I just hope I can achieve the milk creams you have made. Is the total cooking time 20 mins ? Do you use slow or medium flame while cooking?
Thanks for the appreciation Ramona and Alwyn. And happy you're going to try out my recipe. Yes the total cooking time is just around 20 minutes, for me it was a little less than 20. For some it could be 2-3 minutes more. For the first five minutes, I used medium heat, and thereafter medium low. That is reduce the heat a little after adding the butter.
Would this work with plant-based milk as well? I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen, igf-1 and possible BLV in dairy. Thank you for sharing
@@shanayafernandes3638 Thanks for your appreciation, Shanaya. The mil creams will stay good at room temperature for 8 days. After that, store them in the fridge.

Last year for the first time, tried making with fresh milk. And it was such a pain. The time she had mentioned exceeded 3 times of what was mentioned by her. Some ppl just misguide viewers. Infact I had seen this recipe last year and was rather keen on trying. It came in late last year

Is it better to use a nonstick pan as mine became brownish as it got a bit stuck in a cooker pan
A non-stick pan is best for this recipe.

I'm so sorry, I won't be able to tell you that. I have no experience of trying out this recipe with any other kind of milk.

Gor how long does this keep after making
It will stay good at room temperature for 5 - 7 days. After that, it could be stored in the fridge.
@PataCake thank you
@@geraldynecasmero5468 , You're welcome, Geraldyn.
i hv tried but the mixer become sticky may be i used icing sugar?
Shaila, why did you add icing sugar to the mixer? You only had to add just enough milk to grind the soaked cashew nuts to a smooth paste.
Did you use a non stick pan ?
Yes, Mignonne. Use a non-stick vessel or a thick bottomed one.
Thank you aunty Veena . I am aunty Bels niece.
@@mignonnesharma2448, you're most welcome, Mignonne. I must be much older than you but I too am her niece! Thanks for getting in touch
Woww..you share my mother's name with surname😅
My mom's name is Veena Patwardhan❤
Wow! What a lovely coincidence. Is her name Veena Patwardhan before marriage or after marriage? And where do you live?

We live in Mumbai..

Could you please tell if it's okay if a few random tiny bits of cashewnut remain after grinding? Urgent please. Want to try preparing them. Thanks
Bonita, it will be OK if they're really tiny. If you see larger bits, just remove them from the mixture before pressing it into the moulds.
@@PataCake Thank you sooo very much for the super fast reply. God bless you. Wish you a happy, blessed and love filled Christmas in advance
