All I see are finger prints, take a second to look at your gaming controller that you play either Xbox/PS on. Is it glossy? I don't know why they went with this design, same with Retroid I have to clean that thing every 5 minutes because of the finger prints all over. Maybe the white will be less prone to this or the blue the black just is bad but point being the edges should have been all plastic with a 1.25mm bezel around the screen. The screen basically has a bezel anyways so who cares. OH CAN YOU DO SOMETHING can you try to play Drastic with the dual screen feature or switch to desktop mode, I want to see if the company actually fixed the issue with their Odin 2 and Odin 2 Mini !
@@hyperplayrpg I'm not a bot. I am maybe wasting too much time commenting on stuff that people don't really care about (nor me for that matter). Or maybe i just want to see something different and it doesn't happen :P
What would be considered "different" to you? Genuinely curious to what you think should shift with emulation handhelds that could outshine this. This is *far* from the same device over again, and how can you justify android as being an antiquated platform/software when thousands of developers pour their lives into developing optimized apps to run and function with the best emulators and mobile app store games? This, the Retroid pocket 5, and the Ayaneo Pocket Evo are the only 3 with high quality OLED panels now, and on all of these this generation every single button, trigger, body shell/material, cooling, even down to the RAM inside has been improved. The only common denominator is the latest Snapdragon chip being used again-- however it is even better utilized and feels more at place in premium built devices which is why these current hardware upgrades are cool to have. Just some perspective -- It takes trial and error to nail every aspect of a device and these smaller companies don't need to worry about dumping millions of dollars into R&D to only commit to one device every 5+ years. These devices literally rely on the smaller online communities that fund through indie gogo, etc to buy, play, test, and give feedback-- and the companies listen and make changes accordingly. This time though, there are basically zero flaws on the devices, and we have finally set an official new standard to go even higher from. Honestly, this is where you might actually start seeing something "different" out of these moving forward-- but there's nothing to yawn at here my guy. This is already the result of gaming enthusiasts asking and receiving what they want, from a company that accepts notes and wants to improve. I do actually still want to know what more you would want out of these though.
Thanks for watching my first impressions video of the Odin2 Portal! Let me know down below what you think of this new handheld! 😊
6:20 You answered my question about the fan exhaust from the Discord! You rock haha
@@adam_roman The important issues are being prioritized :)
Can't wait to receive my black pro. Thank you for this vid and I look forward to your full review!
Man, I have the Odin 2 Pro Max and I wish I waited and got this. No point in upgrading but I’m jealous of the OLED screen.
I just want an Odin Mini with an OLED screen and a SD 8 Elite squeezed into it. 😬

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (for 3DS)
Do you get to keep the review unit?
