Thank you for doing the demos this way and knowing that the foundations are altered depending on what is worn underneath them! I never find anyone doing it like this. They all use many different products under and say that they're applying all the sunscreen, serum, creams and primers that they use in their real life.

Thank you for doing this! I appreciate you including us oily gals even though you have dry skin. I think I’m going to pick up the Loreal serum foundation. I love a light coverage but find it hard to find one that’s long-wearing.

Thanks for the Flower beauty recommendation! I l I've the lipsticks for a cheap treat but have been to nervous to try the foundation. This sounds exactly what I'm looking for. I'm ok with a little bit of physical sunscreen to bolster my undercoat 😊

I agree and I’m suspicious that while it’s useless the ingredients may be cheap too.
The sunscreen stinks plus there’s usually added fragrance in the foundation itself…🤢
I'm not too happy about some of the sunscreen ingredients they use either but they make them with SPF because it is better to have SOME safety from the sun rather than nothing and they assume no one wears sunscreen separately.
Great review, Gemma! I like the look of the PF Butter Believe It, but the overwhelming smell of coconut is a serious no-go for me. I have both of the L’Oreal ones you mentioned and they are super. I’ve also had the Flower one in the past and agree it’s really good. 🌸

I haven't watched the video yet but long ago I always applied a layer of creamy mauve color corrector onto my entire face before my foundation. This was before all the color correcting bases that we have now. This was long ago. We could get a quad in a container and choose which color. I always used the mauve and when that ran out I found a little compact somewhere of mauve. I'd apply it over my moisturizer. I must start trying it again. It gave a lovely look to the skin. A glow from within sort of thing.

I've been looking for a way to to do a great olive green eye. You nailed it ! Can you do a tutorial for us? I already have the ND mini gold palette in my basket. I have green eyes and think the golden green shadow draws out their color. Blue geens, not so much. Of course the olive top is a plus.

Catrice TruSkin is beautiful even with my dry skin. Use with hydrating primer, it’s flawless and skin like.

I’ve tried some of these foundations because of your recommendation. I also have dry/normal skin and have eczema. Some of the foundation here are okay for me. I have to say my holy grail foundation is Sephora Best Skin Ever. It was one of your recommendation too.

Try on lipstick without any other make up, and don't go anymore than one shade darker than the tone of your lips. If it looks ok without other make up, it should look good with it. Good luck!! Xx

Definitely going to visit Superdrug and get the Flower Beauty foundation. Normally I use W7 "Photoshoot" but it seems to have been discontinued so I'm going to have to change to a different our and the Flower Beauty one sounds ideal. The Catrice one is another option.

I love adding the L’Oreal Trumatch nude tinted serum to some of my other foundations… Especially the urban decay stay naked. It’s a great combination ads just the right amount of luminosity and staying power. It also allows me to stretch both foundations. It comes out in light to medium coverage and completely skin like with a lovely radiance… I love playing chemist and mixing different foundations to get just the right effect For me. Thank you so much for all of your reviews you always hit the nail on the head as far as recommendations.

I thought I loved Physicians Formula foundation. It made me break out. Switched to Bare Minerals liquid foundation. LOVE it!

Lovely demo Gemma, I got the Physician’s Formula Foundation on your recommendation, and it’s really good. I didn’t think it would hold up as well as my usual Estée Lauder DW but it did. Might have to try some of their other stuff. Love to Mum xx

Thanks for a really helpful video. I like the look of the Flower one on your skin. I am a touch darker skin than you (still pale though!) but they have a very limited colour range & Nude looks quite dark. Do you think the colour you used would work? Thanks

As an 8 hr a day mask wearer (work in an airport), I found the L'oreal lasts 2 hrs at best. I'm using Benefit Porefessional and PF setting spray. But your comment about the primer could be the answer! Anyone have suggestions on best type of primer for a serum foundation? Love your videos!

@@PamperedWolf Thank you, I did see your video from two year ago on Physicians formula, but a drug store concealer one would be fab I struggle with dry under eyes and texture at 32 , lots of concealer sets into my under eyes and powder just really makes it worse 😩😩 x

I'm so sad, I just used up the last of my Nyx Tinted skin veil. :( the L'Oreal Serum foundation is crazy hard to find in the lighter shades here in the US. Have you tried(are you able to in the UK) the other L'Oreal powder foundation: Age Perfect Creamy Powder foundation? i am 47, and have dry to very dry skin and I love the way this looks-it is light to medium coverage but looks really nice on my skin. Not drying at all (io t does have talc) but no alcohol. Loved this vid!
I really want to try the L’Oréal ones. I have the physicians formula and like it. I was scared to wear it to work cause I need something that last 12+ hrs. Now I can wear it confidently 😀😃

Wolfness❣️hope you are well! Now listen… I’ve been a LOYAL IT foundation user for probably 20 years? Well I just tried the Milani 2in1 foundation and concealer… for me? It’s fabulous. No, really amazing! Great coverage, dried down great, lasts… just give it a try… didn’t oxidize on me, was compatable with my other products… I’m going to keep using it as a trial but for now? It’s a noticeable difference!comes in good colors, I got med beige, light beige and one in light… I use them daily now and it’s been almost a week… I work as a dog groomer and need makeup that stays good all day… this worked great. Don’t know why I decided to try it it but I’m glad I did… I don’t set with powder I use a setting spray…♥️🙋♀️☮️‼️🎶🌸🥰

Just a suggestion; have you tried the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish cleaner with the cloth? I can remove multiple make up looks with this and my skin didn't get aggravated and i have very sensitive skin. It's also the only cleanser that I've found removed every speck of make up, on a first cleanse, even when I've done very heavy make up (what i call my drag also) (no, I'm not a drag act!! I'm actually female!!). I strongly recommend it. And if you get it from QVC, you can try it right till 25th January 2022, and if it doesn't suit you, send it back!! I've been using it 25 years now.

I love L’Oréal true match everyone comments how nice my skin looks when I wear it but this one the serum looks awful on my skin & I do have quire nice skin but it exaggerates any pores or lines I can’t normally see

If you have oily skin flower beauty looks great straight on but it makes your skin so oily and looks terrible after a short amount of time

I hope I can find my shade in the Catrice one. It's such a bummer not to have the full shade range but, we can make it work. If nothing else, us Brits are very resourceful 😉
