Wirklich klasse!!! Danke schön. Bin grad auf Teneriffa und (darf) muss Mittwoch in so einen schnöden Ringelsocken A321 nach EDDH einsteigen... Da ist dein Flug aber eine andere Hausnummer.
Grüße aus TFS an ebenfalls meinen Heimatflughafen EDDW.

The “ temperature” warm up is a routine piston engine pre take off procedure to check the magnetos ( ignition systems,) fuel flow and oil pressures to ensure everything is OK before lift off.

Yes, you're right, but the pilots said correctly that we'd let the engines warm up because we have 200 liters of grease and oil in the engines that need to be warmed up.
Doesn't come across before the two takeoffs because I cut the time but we stood at the holding point for 5-10 minutes each time haha 😅
